chapter 44

(deans p.o.v.)

"d-do you have to go" cas asks me as i pack my bag "yes i have to go, i need to get back to hunting again cas" i say zipping up my bag.

I turn around and see cas looking down and i sigh walking over to him and i lift his chin "i love you angel" i say and he gives me a weak smile.

I peck his lips and i go grab my bag and turn back to cas " this is Sam's first hunt cas, i need to be there for him" i say and he nods." I know, its just im gonna miss you" he says and i walk over to him and kiss him.

He kisses back wrapping his arms around my neck amd i place my hands on his sides. I pull away and stare at him " I'll miss you too, but I'm comming back" I say and he smiles.

"now, will you walk me out to my car" i say holding out my hand and he smiles and takes my hand and we head down stairs. Once we're down stairs we see gabe crying and hugging sam, cas and i hide as we spy on them.

"please be safe sam" gabe says pulling away "i will gabe, i have dean,bobby, ellen all of them know how to protect themselves, its my turn to learn" sam says.

" i know i just........i dont want to lose you" gabe says and sam kisses him and pulls back." You wont lose me gabe, even if you wanted to" he says and gabe smiles.

"you ready sammy" i say and he looks back to me and nods and cas and gabe walk us out." Be safe" cas says and we smile and get into the car abd wave driving off.

(castiels p.o.v.)
" im so tired" gabe says sitting on yhe tool and instantly passes out i smile and Charlie comes in." Thank you so much Charlie" i say and she nods "anything to help" she says and i pick gabe up.

He wraps his arms and legs around me and i smile "well I'm gonna crash, night charlie" i say." Night castiel" she says and i carry gabe
Upstairs and to his room "goodnight gabe" i say kissing his head.

"night cas" he mumbles and i turn off his light and close the door and head to my room. I turn off the light and close the door getting in my pajamas and laying down in bed.

The silence in the room is deadly and i am getting very annoyed and i turn the tv on." Cas, are you up" i hear gabe say and turn on my lamp and see him standing there tiredly.

"what's up" i say and he just stands there and i smile and pull the blanket off the bed."come on gabe" i say and he smiles crawling into bed and I cover him with the blanket and turn off the light.

"night castiel" gabe says and i smile "night gabe" i say and he crawls into my side and cuddles me. I roll my eyes and wrap my arm around him and he instantly goes to sleep.

(deans p.o.v.)

"dean?" Sam asks "what" i ask driving " has a hunt ever....Back fired on you" he asks." Sam, every hunt back fires on you" i say "no, i mean has anything gone really bad" sam asks.

"well yeah a couple times" i say looking at sam and he nods " tell me about them" he asks." You sure?" I ask him "yeah im sure" he says and nod "okay then" i say.

"there was this one time we were on a vampire hunt and i got turnned. We went a wolf hunt and it attacked the shit out of me. I've been possessed multiple times. I've gotten my leg broken. I've been killed-"

"WHAT!" Sam screams "yeah sammy ive been killed a couple times, but ive always been brought back it's okay" i say.

" Why haven't you ever told me before" sam asks "cause, its my job to worry and take care of my pain on the ass little brother, not the other way around" i say.

"dean....is any of that stuff gonna happen to me" sam asks and I shake my head." No i wont let that happen" dean says but theres a bad feeling that something isn't going to end right.

My phone starts ringing and sam picks it up " aw angle" he says and i snatch it out of his hands and answer. " hey angel whats up" i say putting it on speaker to focas on driving " i just miss my hunter" he says and sam 'aww's' and i shove him.

"i miss you too angel" i say and i can see his blush through the phone " stop blushing" i say and he laughs and so do i." Cas ask is sams awake" gabe says and i see sam smile "hey babe" sam says abd gabe literaly squeals.

"dude did you just squeal?" I ask and sam pushes me this time and i laugh "how you guys doing" gabe asks." We're still driving" sam says "it wont be much longer till we get to our motel though" i say and i hear cas sigh on the other line.

" Whats wrong angel" i say picking up the phone and taking it off speaker." Am i off speaker" he asks "yeah" i say and he sighs again "what if i cant control my wings and they pop out and stuff and, im just scared" he says.

"angel I'll be back before you know it okay" i say "okay" he says and i smile." Dean can gabe talk to sam" cas says "sure" i say and hand the phone to sam.

We finally get to the motel and sam fell alseep in the car so i have carry his big ass into the room. He had like a growth spurt or something cause hesr almost as tall as me now.

I set him down on his bed and i set our stuff down laying on my own bed and i look at my phone and see a picture of cas and i looking at a sunset with our arms on eachothers shoulders.

I send the picture to cas and with a message thats says 'we're so gay XD' and he just sends back a little smile face with the tongue sticking out and a heart.

I smile and dial his number and call him "hey babe" he says and i smile "hey angel" i say. "so why did you call" he asks "i needed to hear your voice before i go to bed" i say and he laughs " well im happy to hear your voice as well" he says.

"hows sam" he asks again "sleeping" i say "gabe is too" he says and i sigh "what's wrong" he asks." I miss you already" i say and he laughs "you'll be back soon, then we can kiss and cuddle" he says and i chuckle "yeah i can't wait to do that" i say.

"hurry up and come home" he pouts and i laugh " i will" i say and he sighs." Be safe okay" he says and i sigh " i will i promise" i say smiling "you better" he says and i laugh again "i will" i say.

"how is every one else" cas asks "they are all in their own room" i say and look at sam and sigh."what's wrong" cas asks again "i just have this feeling something bad is going to happen" i say.

"dean just dont think that way" cas says with concern in his voice "i cant help it cas, it just doesn't feel right" i say. " whatever happens i need you to tell me okay" he says "okay, I'll make sure you'll be the first to know" i say and yawn.

" listen baby you should go to bed" cas says and i rub my face with my other hand." You too, night i love you" i say "love you too night" he says and hangs up and i set my phone down.

I pull the blanket over me and close my eys , but i still cant shake this feeling that something is going to happen.
