Chapter 28

Zayn's POV:

There's a knock on my door. My heart beat knocked me off the ground in the anticipation of what might come, but I somehow managed it and squeaked  'Come in!' Hoping that it might be harreh. But my smile faded away as I saw Rita entered with a mischievous smile on her face.

She enthusiastically said 'Soooo..... You are a dark horse I must say zayn! So are you gonna tell me the whole story or not! How did you bag the most handsome guy on earth?! After you of course! No offense!'

'None taken! Take a breather rita! I... I really don't know what to say actually! It's a little complicated...'

'Oh common! Just a little bit? I thought we were good friends. You broke my heart!' She whined and got up to leave, but I caught her hand and assured her 'Okay..... Okay! I'll tell you. Happy?!'

'Supper happy!!!' She grinned back and sat down again. But exactly then the door banged open and harreh came rushing in. His eyes caught my hand which was still on her hand. I quickly removed my hand from hers and started fiddling with the hem of my shirt out of nervousness I don't know why. This new harreh intimidate me a lot, but at the same time takes my breath away too. Rita stood up haphazardly gaping at him, but I acted like I was very busy with some paperwork.

He asked rita politely 'Can you leave us alone for some time please.... Rita right?'

'Ye..... Yeah.... I mean yes sir! That's right. I mean yes I'll leave.... You.... Both.... Alone..... ' she stammered while moving towards the door slowly, but her gaze over harreh was unbreakable. She was like mesmerized all over again. So much for his magnetism and charisma, nobody can resist him. I rolled my eyes slightly gazing at the papers in my hand.

That's when the door closed. I looked up to a furious harreh. He asked angrily while locking the door 'Did you just roll your eyes? Mr. Zayn Malik?'

I stood up from my chair as I really thought that he's serious this time. He began moving towards me closing the gap between us slowly while continuing 'And may I know why did you keep your phone switched off? Do you know how much worried I was after I found out that?!'

He kept saying while moving forward and I kept getting back until I crashed my back sharply against the wall. As my office is too small, so it didn't take much time. His face was furious and his eyes were staring down at me. He cornered me and put his hands on the wall beside my head on both sides, caging me in. I couldn't find any mercy in his eyes this time. He growled again 'Answer me z! You like torturing me, don't you!? You know I left a meeting in the middle when I noticed that your phone is unreachable!' I whispered back this time gazing at his eyes 'Am I worth all this trouble?'

At this point I saw some softness again appearing in him. His anger left his eyes slowly. He caressed my left cheek with the back of his fingers and I closed my eyes as I felt his warmth against my skin again. He said adoringly 'You are worth everything my love! You are my life! But you know I feel helpless when I can't feel you or hear you. I feel suffocated then. Like I lost you again.... '

I snaked my arms around him and held him tightly. He touched his forehead against mine and sighed softly. I could feel his fast heartbeat against mine. I tried to kiss away his anxious breath and whispered against his lips sincerely 'I'm sorry haz! I was just teasing you. I didn't know you'd feel this way. Please forgive me! I love you!'

Finally there was a faint smile on his face. I drew him more close to me. He smashed his lips to mine and started exploring my mouth like he never tasted it before. He snaked his hand inside my brief and squeezed my bare ass up. My arms were chained around his shoulder tightly. I gasped when his fingers started to enter towards my hole. We were a hot mess out there, clinging with each other up against the wall.
