╰ ╯"Try this," he looked over to see a couple. The woman was wearing a purple baggy shirt tucked into some jeans and calf-high brown boots with black laces. The man was wearing a black and white striped shirt with "evolution" written on the front in bright red. Matched with some jeans and white sneakers.
He looked back forward when they stopped walking, being asked what they would like and the man he didn't recognize was replying with a question on if they could just taste samples of some of the treats which the workers said was alright, so that's what they did.
He glanced at the clock. 2:32. As they looked around, he noted some things. A man started having a sneezing fit and one of his friends walked with him out of the store. There was a family that was trying to calm their kids down from fighting. There was also a girl that ran in, seemingly distressed as she went up to the counter.
he didn't really know how long it was before he looked up at the clock again, 2:56? Where did the time go? How had they been there so long? And when did they get back to the counter? Where was that girl from a moment ago? Something didn't feel right. Which was weird because he couldn't feel anything.
A scream. There was a scream. Holy shit, that was a gunshot. He whipped around right in time to catch the mysterious man as a gunshot rang through his ears. He fell with the mysterious man in his arms, noting the wound in the man's stomach. Another gunshot.
Chan woke up gasping for air again. He sat up, rubbing his face. He let out a frustrated sigh, he just wanted the dream to stop, and he was beginning to think it wouldn't ever go away. And that was making him anxious because this was freaking him out. Was he going crazy? Were all the years he'd struggled with insomnia catching up with him and now he was losing it?
His alarm started going off. As usual. He always woke up just moments before his alarm began ringing. With an irritated sigh, he shut off his alarm and headed out of his room. Why was he having to work on a Saturday? Oh right, he agreed to it since Jisung was coming by with his cousin to meet everybody.
He really didn't look forward to having to work, but he enjoyed meeting new people so at least he had that. Tiredly, he made his way to make himself something to eat before he started getting dressed. With a yawn he grabbed his keys and his go-to coffee he made and headed to his car, sighing as the summer air hit him. It was already a bit warm, But he didn't mind summer weather. After all, he was raised in Australia.
He drove with the radio playing for a change. He drove while only humming along to the songs here and there. Since he felt oh so tired, he made sure to put every ounce of his focus on the road.
He parked in his normal spot before climbing out and heading into the bar, going behind to the back to clock in before greeting his friends, "hey."
"Hey you alright?" Felix asked.
Chan nodded, "just extra tired today I guess."
"Hm, maybe try taking a nap later?" Changbin suggested.
Chan looked down, "I uh, don't want to sleep anymore than I have to honestly."
"Are you still having that dream?" Felix asked, surprised.
Chan sighed softly with a nod, "yeah but I don't want to talk about it. When is Jisung coming in?"
"In about an hour," Changbin said, "if you need to go home, you can take half a day you know."
Chan nodded, "I know I can, but I think I'll be good."
"Okay," Changbin nodded, "just let me know if you need to go."
