╰ ╯Chan woke up the next morning to his alarm blaring. He reached over, pressing the button to stop it. He sat up and stretched before he yawned. He pulled the covers off of him and stood up, walking out of his room, heading home towards the kitchen when he stopped.
"Wait a minute," he said to himself, thinking for a minute before feeling himself perk up, rushing around to get ready before grabbing his phone and keys and leaving for work. He was extra happy in the car ride there, singing along to songs that played from his phone on shuffle the entire way to work.
When he arrived he practically skipped inside, and Changbin was quick to notice how happy Chan seemed, "you seem very upbeat this morning."
"That's because I'm very happy right now," Chan beamed, "I woke up to my alarm today."
"That's not really something to be happy about, Chan," Changbin hummed.
"No it is, because that dream I've been having, it causes me to wake up minutes before my alarm goes off," Chan said, "for the first time in, what a month and a half, I haven't had that dream."
"Holy shit," Changbin said, "that's actually really exciting."
"Yeah," Chan replied with a bright smile.
"I'm happy for you, man, really," Changbin smiled back before saying he had to leave back to his station.
Maybe it's possible the dream could be gone for good, Chan thought to himself And maybe he was right, maybe the dream was finally over.
"Chan," Felix's voice pulled the older man from his thoughts as he approached, "do you have any plans this weekend?"
"Uh, no," Chan replied, glancing at the clock to see it was already eleven fifteen. He didn't realize how long he had already been at work, "why do you ask?"
"Cause Changbin was wanting to see that new movie Free Guy? And I know you like Ryan Reynolds, so, I thought I could ask all of our friends if they wanted to go too," Felix explained, "like a big group hang out."
Chan nodded, "okay sure, I'm up for seeing it."
"Okay sweet," Felix smiled before walking away.
Chan sighed as he looked out the big window across the room. That window had always been a favorite of his for one reason only. That reason being, looking outside made the Australian feel calm. Chan liked the scenery of the changing seasons, the most prominent being from summer into autumn and winter into spring. For some reason, he found himself zoning out when he looked out the window. Although it was indeed odd, Chan found himself describing what the weather outside would feel like based off of it's appearance from inside behind the glass.
That particular Tuesday was sunny and based off of the way the leaves of the trees and bushes moved, along with the fallen ones on the ground, Chan could tell it was a bit windy, but not too bad to where it would be bothersome. On days like that, Chan found himself jealous of people who worked outside.
Felix's voice once again pulled Chan from his thoughts, "hey Chris."
"Hey, whatcha need?" Chan asked.
