Seungmin walked into the hospital room alone that Sunday, wiping away tears as he brought a bag that held tissue paper and a gift inside, "Hey Chan...happy birthday. If you were awake I would've brought you a cake like you did for me."

The beeping sounds mocked him, he cried a bit harder, "it's funny, I told myself not to cry and here I am doing exactly that. But since you can't eat cake right now, I'll just have to bring you one when you wake up. I'm also sorry it's so early, I didn't sleep too well last night, but on the bright side, the others are coming to visit you today too. We all got you gifts and we're gonna throw something else for your birthday after you wake up because I don't care if you're asleep right now on your birthday, we still need to celebrate it."

And Seungmin was determined to keep that promise. With another sad laugh he added, "You're going to have a good birthday party, I know you'd probably say you're too old for one, but to me, you're never too old for a good birthday party."

When the others showed up, he made sure to pitch the idea to them about coming up with a plan to throw a mini party for Chan and the six others were quick to agree and give their own ideas of what they could to to make the party fun and enjoyable for the eldest.

Hyunjin and Jeongin had the idea of going skating wether that be roller or ice, Hiding pitched the idea of spending the day playing children's games for nostalgia purposes which the others thought was a good idea but Changbin asked where that came from, the idea being pitched from out of the blue and Minho laughed, saying that his boyfriend had just finished squid game and that's where the idea came from.

Felix had given a couple ideas, but he couldn't seem to focus, still in a daze which Changbin had noticed. Despite being told to stay away, Changbin still kept an eye on the younger whom he very obviously still cared deeply for. Felix knew the older still kept an eye on him because he too kept an eye on the older since he still cared. And as badly as he had wanted to hug the ravenette when he knew the taller had been crying, he held back from doing so.

Changbin also tried to be as happy as possible, but it was quite difficult where he stood. He was once again sat right beside Chan with easy eye contact access to what Changbin would describe as Felix's beautifully hand crafted, hypnotizing brown eyes.

Changbin couldn't complain and honestly, Felix couldn't either. No matter how hard Felix had tried over the past couple weeks to get past Changbin, he just couldn't do because he had fallen so fast and so hard for the older and his heart was throwing a tantrum at the thought of giving up his feelings.

So while Felix's head and heart were at war, he was unable to focus on anything. Changbin could tell the boy was constantly unfocused and he wanted nothing more than to help him, but he knew that wouldn't do anything since he was the reason the Australian was acting the way he was.

Changbin didn't know what hurt worse, the fact that he could tell the Australian was hurt and having a hard time, or the fact that he knew he was responsible for the hard time the blond was having.

And Jisung, who had known both boys for a while noticed both boys hurting and he was trying to think of a plan that would help them hurt less. The only thing he could come up with was to get them to talk and he knew that wasn't going to work at the current time.

Once again, Seungmin woke up to his alarm in Chan's bed. He sat up and stretched, then proceeded to lay back down cause he was quite warm and didn't want to leave. Despite having stayed in the olders bed for quite a while, the scent of the Australians cologne still occupied his sheets and it comforted Seungmin, but not in a weird way.
