In My Nightmares

Chan watched Hyunjin in awe as he danced along to Inception by Ateez. He looked over at Seungmin and Minho who were also watching the boy dance. They had a small class for some reason do they decided they would take volunteers to dance to something for the entire hour they were supposed to be practicing.

That Monday was strange. Everything seemed off for some reason, but it was most likely due to everyone's schedules having to be adjusted. Once Hyunjin had finished his routine, a student decided to go next, taking the opportunity to dance along to Dumb Dumb by Somi and since the title of the song reminded other students of another group, another student decided to dance to Peek-A-Boo by Red Velvet.

Chan was tempted to do a song, but he didn't feel he was strong enough to do one yet. But he was sure he wanted to dance to a song at some point.

Minho danced along to finesse by Bruno Mars and Chan, again, watched in awe. He was excited to see what song Seungmin was going to be dancing to. Somehow thoughts of Seungmin dancing to a bunch of different possible songs popped into his head, he became extra curious as to what he'd be dancing to.

After Minho went, a couple more students volunteered to go, one girl doing Paint The Town by LOONA. And a boy had decided to do LOCO by Itzy, both student's doing an amazing job.

Then it was Seungmin's turn. Chan waited impatiently, tapping his foot as he waited for Seungmin to start. He was surprised when he heard MANIAC by Baby Storme began playing. Seungmin danced along to the music, and Chan found himself in a hypnotic state. The music fit the mood for spooky season and it made Chan smile a little. As the beat dropped, Seungmin dropped onto his knees before bringing his left leg out forward, bringing his right leg up and standing.

Chan couldn't manage to keep himself super focused on what exact moves Seungmin was making, but all he knew was that he liked it. As the chorus hit, Seungmin dropped back onto his knees and swung the side of his right fist down to his left, hitting the floor and dragging it in front of him to his right in a half circle before swinging his head to the back in the same direction before bringing his right arm up and swinging his his arm down to his left and then right, bringing both arms up and crossing them in an "X" before swinging them down and repeating the same motions, mirroring what he did before.

Chan smiled as he watched the brunette dance. Seungmin didn't notice his stare until he was almost finished with the dance. He smiled shyly as he continued and when he finished he glanced at Chan again who was now clapping along with the rest of the students.

Afterwards, still out of breath and beginning to chug some water, Seungmin sat down beside the blonde who spoke up not long after the younger sat down, "do you wanna dye my hair tonight?"

Seungmin smiled, "sure we can."

"Okay," Chan nodded, "what color do you wanna do?"

"How about brown right now and then in a few months or something we can have you go to black if you'd like?" The smaller suggested and Chan smiled again with a nod, "okay cool."

Chan wrapped an arm around the smaller who smiled as he leaned back against the blonde. Seungmin watched the next couple students dance along to their songs before they started voting on what kind of songs they wanted to cover for the future lessons. Even Chan was pitching in some ideas to help.

After the long lesson, everyone headed home. Chan and Seungmin carpooled back to the older's house. The younger of course being the one who was driving.

"You dance really well by the way," Chan said suddenly.

"Oh you think so?" Seungmin asked.

The other nodded, "yeah definitely."
