"Chris, what was-" he froze, watching the crimson dying Chan's light colored shirt. He froze for a second before his brain screamed at him, do something! So he scrambled to sit up, not thinking twice before pressing against the source of the crimson metallic smell that had begun to fill his senses.

"I'll be fine," Chan said, "don't worry about me."

"Chan, I need you to stop talking now, okay?" Seungmin said, pressing harder on the older's abdomen. He kept trying to tell himself, "this is a dream, this isn't happening. Please this can't be happening."

"I'm okay," Chan whispered.

"Stop talking," Seungmin whispered back. Chan nodded as he let his head fall back against the floor.

"Hey," Seungmin looked over at a woman across the store from him, "use your jacket."

"Don't cry," Chan said, "I don't like you crying. Happy looks better on you."

"Shh," Seungmin said.

"Does anyone need critical help?!"

Chan smiled and lightly laughed, "Seungmin is here."

"He's lost consciousness," the medic said and Seungmin found himself crying harder, "starting compressions."

Seungmin jumped awake, the sudden movement waking the older beside him, "Seungmin? Are you alright?"

Seungmin stayed there, frozen, heart beating rapidly and eyes filling with tears. Chan rubbed his eyes and opened them more to look at the younger, suddenly feeling wide awake when seeing the younger's state, "Seungmin??"

The younger looked over at the taller brunette, "I-I'm sorry I don't...I don't know what happened. I was just there again and I didn't like those moments Chan, they scared me, and I don't want to experience that again and-"

"Hey, breathe," the Australian said gently, raking a hand through Seungmin's hair, "you were where again?"

"The mall," Chan's heart broke at that, "I was dreaming about what happened and I was so scared and I feel that scared now and I hate it, Chris I hate it so much."

"I know, I'm sorry," Chan said, hugging the younger boy who was now crying, "I'm so sorry you feel scared, but we're okay, I promise. Is this something you think you might need to talk to someone about? I know it was traumatic."

"I don't know," Seungmin cried, "I just hate it. I hate that it happened."

"I know, and I do too, I'm so sorry you were put in that situation," Chan replied.

"It's not your fault," Seungmin stated, pulling back just a little to look at the older.

"I know it's not, but I can't help but feel guilty," the Australian said.

Seungmin nodded, "I understand, but I promise, I don't blame you. If anything, I would think you blame me. After all, you did get shot."

"And I'm okay," the older replied, pressing a kiss to the older's forehead.

"I'm sorry," The smaller brunette whispered.

"No no no," Chan shook his head, "don't apologize, you don't have to apologize."

Seungmin didn't reply, just hugged the older a bit tighter, and the older reciprocated the action. They stayed like that until they both managed to fall asleep again.
