Them and I (On Hold)

Chapter 8

I woke up to the feel of something poking my side, opening my eyes I couldn't help but hiss at the bright light that blinded me; hearing shuffling the light was turned off  but another one not so bright illuminated the room I was in, by the smell of it and how sterile the air was it was safe to assume I was in a hospital.
lips parting ; a croak was the sound that came pass my chap lips as I tried to speak but the air was so dry as if I didn't have anything to moisture or hydrate me for a while.

"Shhh, Drink"

Feeling something cold press to my lips I drank from -what I knew to be- a cup thirstly, humming in approval of the satisfaction of my throat feeling moisture'd I licked my lips as the cup was removed to sweep a drop that spilled before speaking in a soft strained tone that was estrange to me.

"Where am I ?"

"You are in the pack hospital"

"Who's pack ?"

"Your mates"

"What mates ?"

"Hmm.."

Not hearing an answer I attempted to sit up so I can look at the person I spoke to...I couldn't really freak if it was a man or a women by the time but I assumed it was a Nurse or even a Doctor by how filling the conversation was, as I was in thought the bed was being lifted and my eyes landed on a tall slinky man that looked to be in his thirty's, he smiled softly before he pointed next to him; where there were two figures sleeping away in hospital chairs. I couldn't see their faces but I thought about what happened earlier and my head began to pound from it, groaning my hand shot to my head not realizing how fast and strong the  swift movement was I ended up smacking my forehead, hard, as fuck. I whimpered hoping the doctor would save me from myself. He stayed where he was shockingly, a harsh chuckle bellowed out of his chest  from the sight but before he could explain the two figures that was sleep soundlessly were throwing questions at me as they sprung to life.

"Are you okay ?"

"Why did you hide your wolf?"

"Do you remember us ?"

I stared at them blankly remembering my dream from the past, I growled lowly from the thought of Donate and Edgar keeping them away from me but for what..there was the time I was on my phone when I was fifteen and I saw them on Instagram, they looked the same back then even till now. I wonder how old they are, what if they knew me since forever but we were just now encountering each other to where we would finally see each other clearly. My eyes were glued to their faces as I tried to figure out things that became jumbled inside my mind, making me feel a headache coming on.

"Bitch that makes no since...I'm done already, I came to speak to you but you woke up on some other shit"

My subconscious seemed to laugh at me as she scolded me for my own thoughts, I stared at the two men fiercely trying to understand everything around me but I wanted to know what was happening with my body before everything else took place.

"I'm assuming you are the doctor umm.."

"Dr. McCary"

"Yes, Dr. McCary, Is there anything wrong with me aside from the obvious ?"

"Hmm...well you'll be tired for a while, your body was at a breaking point when you were trying to fight your change, if you hold your wolf to long it will end badly not just for you but for others involved with you too but aside from that their isn't anything wrong with you. You just need to eat and get your strength back and you strength starts with your mates. I will be on my way, it was nice meeting you Luna"

My words were stuck as I watched him leave, I couldn't even pull what I had on my tongue together to say it, he basically told me about myself but politely I think. I don't know I'm really confused for some reason but by the gazes I feel on the side of my face I have answers to give to questions I don't want to answer and they have answers to my questions I need answered.
