Chapter 7 • Back flashes continue

Turning around, I stepped back some from how close they were, I could've sworn they were across the room. Sighing I walked to my bed and set my clothes down and looked at them growing irritated from the conversation.

"I'm not ignoring you guys, I have things to do today and I assume you do and ignore what that happened yesterday, all you guys did was tell me you found your mate, I already said I was happy for you. What else is there to say ?"

They both looked at each other then me before Edgar spoke again. He seems to be the talkative one today I see, seems like they choose who speaks when and where. " There isn't anything else to say....we just thought you would handle it differently but don't ignore us because we have a mate. You are still our friend, our best friend at that Kor"

Nodding I gave them a reassuring  smile that would send them on their way, they took the cake and walked out the room without saying a word. How else do you dumbass want me to react, you want me to get mad then huh, that's about the dumbest thing I have heard, you have a mate why treat her as if she isn't.

"Bitch just be glad today is our day and we don't have to deal with them forever.."

Running my fingers through my hair, I was now getting irritated by my subconscious, how I don't fucking know but I see it is possible, very possible. I ran to the bathroom trying to get my day started and over, washing up and washing my hair. I quickly rinsed off then stepped out grabbing my towel and drying off before putting lotion on, walking into my room I threw on  some leggings , a black crop top with some black huaraches. Time to start a day I dread and love the most, my birthday.

I quickly pulled my hair into a sloppy bun with a few strand of curls hanging out before walking out my room and down stairs to the living room. I couldn't help the smile that pulled at my lips as I seen my Dad standing up as if he was prepared for me to jump into his arms and that's exactly what I didn't.

"Hi Daddy !!"

"Look at you princess...my little girl is growing up, I don't think I can handle it Hayden."

I couldn't help but laugh at how dramatic he as being , I didn't let him go until I looked around for Mama. I turned around and seen Hayden one of the guys in the wolf pack that worked under my dad when it was time for him to leave his place Hayden would become beta, he was cute, but not my type. He had long blonde hair and green eyes with a tan complexion and he was growing a stubble, I couldn't believe he was the same age as Dontae and Edgar, well he was actually older then them but still he look grown as hell. My dad shook me to my embarrassment as to my guess I was staring at him and for to long at that.

"Yes, Beta David she is growing up rather quickly how old are you now Kor'elena ?"

Looking at my dad I scratched the back of my head not being able to keep contact with Hayden, his stare was tense, really tense, it made me feel like he could see through me.

"today, I will be sixteen...hopefully I get my wolf"

"Princess, you will and she will be beautiful just like you"

I couldn't help but smile back at my dad for his sweet words as he smiled reassuringly to me, turning around I seen Hayden eyes trained on me. I looked at him slightly confused as to why he was still looking at me but I really needed to know where Mama was.
