Them and I (On Hold)

Chapter 2

A chill ran up my spine as I sighed passing the sign that said welcome to Lansing, my eyes roamed over the trees that seemed to be everywhere. Shit I don't know where I am and I think I'm lost because these directions this man gave me, isn't there I put them in the GPS and it says the site or location isn't their I kept driving till I heard howling.

"The fu-"

I couldn't help the widening of my eyes as I seen a giant wolf standing in the middle of the road, he looked angry as hell but a chance that I wasn't going to take was hurting it or it hurting me I began to back up but stopped as I seen another behind me. Taking a breath looking out my mirrors and windows seeing I was surrounded. I couldn't help but curse to who ever decided to go and ruin Kor'elena's day, looking back to the front I see the wolf that was there before was gone so I started driving again not caring for the others as they where behind me but soon as I picked up a consistent speed that was at least forty, I growled looking in my rear view seeing the wolves trailing behind me.

"The fuck do you guys want damn leave me alone "

I groaned speaking to no one in particular, well to them but I knew they couldn't hear. I began driving until I seen a sign and soon as I passed it my eyes went dark not because of the view but because the side of my car was hit hard as fuck and tipped over tumbling. hitting my head in the process I blacked out.

"F-Fuck"

I groaned out as my eyes fluttered open like the hit wasn't shit, like the fuck a bitch felt like shit...the fuck hit me.. Trying to get out I began to panic as I felt as though I smelled gas, grabbing my seat belt I hit the button for it to only be stuck.

"No, no, no, this is not how I fucking die hell no!"

I began punching the seat belt until I hit against the glass with a hard as fall from out the seat.
"FUCK!" Looking around I couldn't help the tears from watering in my eyes, seeing my phone I grabbed it before scooting to the window and taking a breath in before thrashing my elbow against it until it broke.

Whimpers.

I stopped trying to figure if that was the right sound but it stopped, shimming through the window I couldn't help but cry out in pain as a piece of glass cut my expose stomach and my leg as I tried to get it out. I would have laid against the grass a while longer but the sound of moving got me to my feet faster then anything.

"Whose there ?"

Walking away from my car I forget the smell for a second, was it gas...when I turned and began to walk I groaned and almost cried all together from the pain in my leg and in the side of my stomach.

"F-Fuck!"

I stopped where I stood in the dark moving my hand into my view as my vision still was a little spotted I made out the phone I forgot all about. I quickly called back Carter in a panic.

"I knew you were going to call back so soon mam-"

"Carter"

I couldn't help the tears that began to fall down my cheeks as I tried to walk, I began filling guilty that maybe I wasn't looking and I actually did hit one of the wolves.

"Baby what's wrong ?"

"I-I got into an accident...I'm in Lansing I think Carter"

"Baby calm down okay just calm down..tell me what happened"

I cried harder feeling the pain on my side as my eyes began to get spotted again as I tried to look but this time I felt as if I seen something in the trees.

"C-Carter I'm scared I think I hit a wolf...I'm so sorry I didn't mean to, it came out so quick...I think I killed it and now I'm being punished I'm in the woods and I can't see but I keep seeing stuff now.."

I looked down feeling something with a wet liquid texture slide down my stomach, my hand went to the area slowly as he began speaking to me.

"It's okay Mama I'm right here okay, the wolf will forgive you knowing it was an accident...mama-"

"Carter I'm bleeding...a lot"

I couldn't help but cry harder, but I knew Carter would try to help and he knew I wasn't one to cry but this moment I thought a bitch was about to die and I killed an innocent animal.

"Kor'elena ?"

Before my lips could part to speak a growl ripped through the trees, I couldn't help but shake in fear of the thought of the wolves that probably found their friend laying dead somewhere..

"Kor'elena...are those howls?"

Scared to speak, I whispers a soft yes and as I did he remained silent without him speaking I felt as though at that moment I was going to die because my eyes landed right on a wolf that stood a couple feet away from me.

"I'm sorry.."

I couldn't help the tremble of my lips as I looked at the wolf in front of me as it growled viscously with its teeth bared as if it was ready to pull my flesh apart, dropping my phone I couldn't help the feeling in my stomach as I heard the last sound of carters voice. Knees giving out I fell to the ground holding my side where blood continued to flow slowly, soft whimpers left the wolf as it got closer my eyes began to close but before they did I couldn't help but apologize once again a before I felt myself slip away.

"I'm sorry.."
