"Here we are," Allisa says. "The Guiding Sky Temple."
We all walk into the shrine. I watch as Amai takes her mother's hand. She smiles a bit as her new wings flap behind her.
"This temple was built for Atlas and I?" Aura asks.
Soveliss nods. "It was built when I was young. It took a while, but my parents and some of the other Destinians wanted to dedicate something to the both of you."
Naomi nods. "This has been here our whole lives."
"This is so cool." Nova's eyes light up as she looks around the structure. "I... really like this."
"It's built beautifully. A nice piece of history here." Saisho compliments.
"It's great, but how did Amai get her wings here?" Ikimono speaks up.
Snowie bounces around everyone. "Magic! Obviously."
I laugh. "It might be more complicated than that, Snowie."
Amai giggles, then looks at everyone. She becomes eerily quiet. As she brings Aura a bit further away from all of us, she cups her free hand around her mouth.
"Father!"
Within moments, near the statue of the two Written Heroes, a transparent figure appears. He replicates the man within the sculpture, but with golden and white colors in his outfit. He smiles at Amai.
"Sweetheart, you're back. I- Aura?"
He stops in his tracks as his eyes meet with Aura. She covers her mouth as tears begin to pour from her eyes. Amai smiles at her mother.
"It's okay, Momma."
"Atlas, is that... you?" She takes a step towards him after a quiet whisper. "You've been here? All along?"
The man watches her closely as they get closer to one another. Soon enough, Atlas puts his arms out to her. Aura rushes to him and the two embrace. A few sobs escape from Aura.
"I've missed you so much," I hear Aura whisper. "Oh god, I thought I'd never see you again."
"Amai told me all about how you've been," Atlas whispers. "I'm so sorry I had to leave you behind... I can't imagine..." A few tears slip from his face. "Aura, my love, please..."
She cups his face, sniffling. "Sweetheart, I've already forgiven you. This isn't your fault, it's... Corruption's fault."
He smiles sadly. "I'm just glad you and Amai are both alive... Both of my girls are okay. Heh... she's so much like you."
"She has your heart."
I watch as Amai takes a step forward to her parents. They look at her.
"Momma, Father said something earlier. About me."
"Oh?" She looks at Atlas. "What... about our daughter?"
Atlas grins. "Our child is a Legacy." He says. "Destined to save the Worlds."
I hear a few gasps among us coming from the Destinians in our team. Soveliss and Naomi both freeze in their places.
"Legacy?! Wait, Amai's a Legacy?!" Naomi asks.
Soveliss looks at Amai. "Excuse me, how long have you known?! Were you going to tell us at all?"
Amai puts a hand on her neck. "Uhhh, eventually?" She nervously laughs. "I just found out earlier, before I went to find Violet."
"She's right," Allisa smiles at us kindly.
Ikimono smirks. "You're basically a Demigod... interesting. Did not see this one coming, I'll be honest."
