<8:49am>
<present>Days have gone by like a flicker of a light. It had been days since Taeyong had abruptly left the dinner with a troubled face and an obvious lie to which those close to the aforementioned male can decipher. Jaehyun was one of them, and he, too, was troubled by the sudden leave of Taeyong.
He could not help but worry if Wooseok had embarrassed Taeyong badly, knowing that the male had traumas and faults of his own. Jaehyun decided to pay Taeyong a visit, wanting answers to his questions. Also, he wanted to spend time with the person that open his eyes to another side of life; a past lover that he could just put in a shelf to catch dust.
Jaehyun's heart pounded louder than drums, his hands colder than ice. He had no clue what lied further. He was worried Taeyong may not want to talk to him anymore, or even worse, resent him for the rest of his life. But then again, he could not be mad at him for something his boyfriend had done.
Mustering up the courage to leave his bicycle, Jaehyun walked up to the house with a huff of cold breath flowing through the air. Eyes lingered longer on the house that brought him so much joy, yet a mountain of sorrow to balance it off, or even topple the whole scale over.
His fist hammered on the wooden door gently, not wanting to sound intrusive. The door opened and he saw Taeyong. For the first time in a while, he was breath-taken. Taeyong's doe eyes remained brimming with stars, his skin flawless, frame still frail, yet ethereal, and his subtle smile brought so much warmth in Jaehyun that it could thaw that frozen heart of his.
"Hi!" Jaehyun waved politely, ensuring his dimples were protruding.
"Uh, are you expecting Johnny? I can get him." Taeyong was about to leave when Jaehyun grabbed him the wrist lightly.
"No, I am here for you." Jaehyun still held his smile, hoping it would captivate Taeyong, like how he was captivated with his current state.
Taeyong looked quite comfortable with his wears. His pink bunny socks and his matching royal blue silk pajama set just put the cherry on top. Jaehyun felt the urge to just deviate from every plan he had and just spent the day hugging Taeyong. He mentally stopped himself upon analyzing that thought.
He already has someone else, he could never go back.
"What do you want from me, may I ask?" Taeyong questioned.
"I haven't heard from you since that dinner, and I was worried you hated me and Wooseok for making you uncomfortable," Jaehyun explained.
"Oh about that, I really had to pass the portfolio," Taeyong scratched his nape, trying to laugh off the awkward tension.
"Oh, well do you have any plans?" Jaehyun asked, his heart returned to pounding louder so his ears were deafened by the sound.
"Well, I..." Taeyong was about to speak when Johnny approached from behind.
"He does not have any plans, Jaehyun," Johnny dropped a heavy hand on Taeyong's shoulder.
"Give us a second," Taeyong slammed the door in front of him.
Jaehyun felt the thundering sound of the door, and whispers behind the wood got him sweating on his feet. He whistled as his eyes trailed around, trying to find something interesting to stare at for the time being.
The door opened once more, and Taeyong agreed that he did not have any plans. They invited Jaehyun inside as he was probably freezing to death outside. He entered and this was the first time he had ever entered the place. It was grand, spacious yet the atmosphere was more colder than outside. Despite, Johnny and Ten's golden, warm personalities, he could still feel the frozen air drifting through the winds.
