Jaehyun tapped his foot impatiently, anxious tension grew larger than what he could ever be. A spectrum of emotions just devoured his immensely vulnerable state. He was worried. Worried of what his parents might think of him, what his parents might think of Taeyong, worried where Taeyong could be.

"Hey, kid." The cell opened, catching Jaehyun's tranced state. His eyes void of energy, not a glint of joy nor optimism inhabited within his brown orbs.

"Y-Yes?" He replied to the policeman, swallowing a lump as he was not prepared to what the law might put him through. Maybe Taeyong's mother paid the police to abuse him or even worse, kill him.

"You're parents are here, you're free to go."

Jaehyun immediately stood up from his cell, only to grow reluctant when he saw how his parents were quarreling in silence. He thought to himself if he was the one that caused this. He wondered if he was reason why everything turn south and left scars in everyone's mentality. He wondered what would life be if he never existed.

"Jaehyun!" His mother wrapped her arms around her son, the warmth of someone dear to him was foreign after a couple of hours of solidarity. It brought him to tears for a little bit.

They eventually drove home with a heavy atmosphere. It was so heavy that it might anchor the car on the ground. Jaehyun was extremely tired from all of these. He just wanted to see Taeyong. With a stuttering heart and tired eyes, Jaehyun worried in the car if Taeyong was still around the city.

The car ride was extremely quiet, allowing the negative thought bubbles to pollute Jaehyun's tattered mind. He hated it.

He asked his dad if he could turn the radio on but he was left ignored, to which he figured as he caused them so much trouble just because he did everything for a boy he dearly loved. Come to think of it, it did sound stupid and selfish. However, Jaehyun's unwavering adorationg for Taeyong outweighed any of those drawbacks.

They arrived at the house. It seemed quite lifeless at the moment, not a sight of light nor bright noises of laughter ringing around the concrete walls. Jaehyun was about to get out of the car, when he noticed that his parents were still sitting down on the car, looking at him with disappointment through the rear view mirror.

"Jaehyun, what did you do?" His mother spoke. Her faint voice playing melodiously in the eerie setting of the early morning.

"I-I don't know" Jaehyun looked down on his lap, unsure as to what to answer to his parents. He knew what they were asking, but he does not know how to structure his response.

"We received a call in the middle of the night about you getting arrested just for an unknown answer?" Jaehyun's father stepped in. His dominant voice peeking through, causing Jaehyun to shrink in his seat due to the fact that his father rarely gets angry.

"Tell us what you did, because when we got called was when I was unexpectedly fired from my job!" His father yelled, popping a neck vein from the pent up frustration.

"I tried to run away with Taeyong!" Jaehyun shouted back. The faucet in his eyes began to unwind was tears began to pool.

"Why would you ever do such a thing?" His mother asked, disbelief lacing in her voice.

"Because! I love him! It was either I spend the rest of my life knowing that he's gonna get married off to someone else or I'll have him for the rest of my life!" Jaehyun shouted once more. The tears that brimmed began to cascade on his youthful face.
