As everyone mingled within the confines of the magnificent room, Taeyong was overwhelmed. The luxurious interior design was breathtaking, but with the golden lighting and grand table setting, everything fell in place perfectly. Taeyong was astonished to see how much Jaehyun and Wooseok had planned into their wedding. A strike of envy shot his heart, but he knew he had to be happy for them.

He remained seated the whole time. He watched as Johnny and Ten talk to other people, introducing themselves as Jaehyun's high school friend. Johnny would occasionally point towards Taeyong from their conversations, probably to show who else was with them. Taeyong was anxious as to what Johnny was introducing him to as to Jaehyun and Wooseok's closet friends and family.

He was never good at reading lips, but he did have a decent eye for reading the atmosphere. It seemed that Johnny lied about Taeyong's connection with Jaehyun. However, as relieving it may sound, it did hurt to be introduced as someone else than 'the second groom of the wedding', 'jaehyun's lover', or better yet, 'the man that will spend the rest of his life with Jung Jaehyun'.

Instead, he had to settle with 'Jaehyun's old best friend from high school' or something Johnny had conjured up. Aside from not knowing anyone in the event and not caring to know them, Taeyong did not want to bump into Mrs. and Mr. Jung. They were the only ones who knew about Taeyong's past relationship with Jaehyun. If he met them at the wedding, it would probably cause a scene from Mrs. Jung's over-exaggerating reaction.

Amongst the guests, he found familiar faces, specifically two. It was Mark and Donghyuck, acting coy and sly in the corner. They probably still shy from the gaze even though the wedding itself celebrates two gay men. To each their own, Taeyong guessed.

After a couple of glasses of water and Johnny talking to almost half of the guests, it was time for the speeches that everyone was waiting for. Dying, as a matter of fact. Many of these unknown guests itching to hope on the stage and talk to the bride and groom about every single thing. All of them were the same, from meeting at work or somewhere random.

Much to his dismay, it was time for the dear beloveds, nearest and dearest to Jaehyun and Wooseok to speak. Taeyong's hands were shivering as if he was left stranded in a land of ice, and his heartbeats grew rapid as if it was racing a bullet. To say that he was nervous was an understatement, he was shutting down. Everything was happening all too fast until it was his turn.

The whole crowd grew silent and waited for the next speaker. It was Taeyong.

"I would like to introduce our final speaker... he is Jung Jaehyun's long-time best friend from high school, Lee Taeyong," The host spoke from the mic.

Taeyong stood up from his seat and looked at everyone before immediately regretting his decision. He felt like his heart had left his body and his brain was going haywire. He walked to the front of the venue and nervously held the microphone.

Visibly shaking and sweating, he took a deep breath and decided to shoot his bullet. He unfolded the paper from his pocket and began to talk.

"For the newlyweds, it has been a pleasure to be a part of your journey up to this point" Taeyong paused before looking up, and he heard nothing from the audience, unlike the previous speakers. They have heard peals of laughter, cries, and encouragements.
