What seemed to be an eternity had finally been broken as the sun had finally resurfaced. No longer did it shun its face from the naked eye behind the clouds, flaunting its golden shine. Taeyong rubbed his hands together as he could not get over the fact that his mittens were appealing and held such sentimental value, being that Jaehyun had bought them for him.

His eyes drifted off to somewhere else as the store worker kept blabbering about various bicycle models. After yesterday, Taeyong had such a spectacular day that he wanted to repay Jaehyun. Since he had destroyed his own bicycle during that heart-pumping and adrenaline-inducing moment, Taeyong decided to buy the latter another, brand new bicycle.

As he was distracted, he had not noticed that the worker had finished their dialogues and waiting for a response from Taeyong. He has awoken shortly after. It was not because the worker was blurting out boring information, it was just that he had not found these bicycles interesting or enough to gift to Jaehyun. However, after he strode around the store for a couple of seconds he had found the most eye-catching one.

It was painted by the softest shade of blue with the wheels in a cream color. It was perfect. It was not too sporty, not too feminine for Jaehyun's taste, and it was not too extravagant. It was just right.

Taeyong told the worker that he wanted to purchase the aforementioned bicycle. He exited the store with bright eyes and a smile, the bicycle held tightly as it was topped off with a red ribbon.

He took his cellphone out of the depths of his empty pocket. Opening his messages with Jaehyun, so his plan can finally go full circle. He halted midway as this was the first he had texted Jaehyun after ten years. A wave of warmth and sadness washed all over him as he read the recent old messages. Their story was the loveliest one that he had ever heard of, to which have ended in such a bittersweet tragedy.

Mustering up the courage to start a new chain of messages with Jaehyun, he hit send. Texting Jaehyun to where Taeyong could meet him as of the moment, he was nervous about what the response may be.

Just before he could keep his phone in his pocket, he received a notification. To his luck, Jaehyun had reply quicker than he thought. He read the message while he smiled ear to ear.

Jaehyun wanted to meet up at their usual rendezvous, the ice cream parlor.

Taeyong walked to the location with his head held up high and his insides were ablaze softly with the feeling of joy and affection. He fought the urge to just skip the entire journey but that would just be impossible with the bicycle still attached to him.

The anticipation of Jaehyun getting surprised by his gift and kissing him was beyond imagination. He wanted it to be real.
He wanted Jaehyun to choose him instead of Wooseok.

After reaching the place with Jaehyun still missing in action, Taeyong waiting on the cold bench with his feet tapping on the floor with excitement. The bicycle was hidden on the side of the street to surprise Jaehyun.

He waited. He waited until it felt like even the sun would sigh and lie down on the comfy clouds out of tiresome. However, Taeyong was unwavering, his smile failed to falter despite the harsh winds and excruciating time of waiting. Snow began to pile on him as he was inanimate. Sitting still, the man who could not be moved remained with his bicycle, which was rotting away into the winter winds.

Then when all hope seemed lost, a car had parked right in front of him. He was taken aback until the door opened. It revealed Jaehyun, stunning as ever with a new attire that was unseen before. He sported a suit fit for a businessman. Taeyong was astonished by the male before him, strutting with all his glory and charms to which none could compare.
