"If you wanna fuck me, then just say that."
————————————-
"No!" I yelled. "Y/n, please! I'll get you mint chocolate chip ice cream afterwards from that ice cream shop you love down by the quarry." Sarah pleaded. That peaked my interest a bit. It had a been awhile since we'd been to the Blue Moon Ice Cream Parlor.

"... Promise?" I asked, holding out my pinky. Sarah beamed, locking her finger around mine. "Yes!" She exclaimed. "I can't believe you're even asking me to do this. I'm your best friend, you should be saying, 'don't do this!'." I complained. "Y/n, it's just one night so that me and Top can have one date alone. He has no other fucking friends and he's so annoying when he tries to tag along with us." Sarah explained.

"Sarah, did either of you explicitly tell him he couldn't come? Or that it was a two person date?" I asked as she curled my hair into loose beach waves. "Uh... Well, no, not really, but he shouldn't be that stupid!" She groaned. "It's Rafe, Sarah. He is "that stupid"." I said.

"Come on, y/n. I know you think he's hot anyway. You guys are pretty close, so it's not like it'll be awkward." Sarah said hopefully. "Yeah, but I think that in the privacy of my own head!" I huffed. "Whatever, same shit! I'm done." Sarah smiled, turning off her curling iron. It looked good, Sarah's always been good at hair.

"I'm not wearing makeup to go out with Rafe Cameron." I said immediately. She glared. "Mascara and foundation. No gloss, just chapstick. That's it." I glared back. "Blush." She argued. "Just a little!" I exclaimed in annoyance. She squealed excitedly. "Yes! Thank you, y/n, seriously. I owe you one, for real."

I changed into black frayed jean shorts and a low cut baby blue long sleeve. Sarah did the boob trick to make my boobs pop out more, as if they didn't already look big enough. "I look like a hooker." I commented, pushing them back in a little. "I'd pay for your service." She joked, kissing my forehead.

"Rafe is picking you up at like... I don't know, I think Topper said eight thirty." Sarah said. I nodded, pulling out an oversized navy blue zip up hoodie from my closet. It was gonna be pretty cold tonight if it's supposed to be anything like the last three or so nights.

"Sandals?" Sarah suggested. I was already pulling my socks on. "Too late." I responded, grabbing my air forces. "Whatever, you look hot as fuck anyway. Come on, we're going downstairs, it's almost eight twenty-two." She said.

I grumbled under my breath, grabbing my wallet and my phone and following Sarah down the stairs of my home. "If this goes badly, you're the only one to blame." I reminded her. "It'll be fine, you've been alone with my brother before." She said.

We heard a honk from outside and she rolled her eyes, holding her hand out for me to take. We went out and saw Rafe's black Range Rover just outside. "Real classy, with the honk." Sarah scoffed. "Hey, bitch. Hey, y/n." Rafe smirked, speaking through his open windows. I could see him examining my outfit, or my body, I couldn't tell. Probably both.

"Fuck off. Take care of her. Pay. Don't be a dick. If it actually goes well, use protection. I'm not ready to be an aunt." Sarah said, listing off her requests as she opened the door for me. I got in and sighed as she closed the door behind me, waiting for me to buckle.

"I love you, okay? Have fun." She smiled, squeezing my hand through the window. "Jesus, Sarah, I'm not going to fucking kill her." Rafe grumbled. "Can't ever be too sure with you." She replied sarcastically. "It'll be fine. You have fun tonight too, alright? I'll text you later." I insisted as she released my hand. She nodded, stepping back from the window.

"Rafe, seriously. Don't be a dick." Sarah said as Rafe flipped her off while we drove away. As I saw her face from the view of the right side mirror, I wondered why she looked so stressed. Hopefully she'll be a little more relaxed after her night alone with Topper.

"So?" Rafe hummed, turning down his music. It was surprisingly decent, considering what I thought he would've listened to. "So, what?" I asked, glancing over at him. "Where do you want to go?" He asked, running a free hand through his floppy hair. "I get to choose?" I asked. He shrugged. "I didn't necessarily plan anything specific. I wasn't sure what you'd want to do and I didn't want to assume and then have you complaining about to Sarah and then have her come bitching to me." Rafe explained.

I scoffed. "Wow, well. I don't really care. I'm not picky, and I won't end up complaining to Sarah regardless of what we do. You could tie me up in your trunk and leave me there until you wanted to take me home and I'd still tell her I had the time of my life." I explained, shrugging. Rafe glanced over at me, then back to the road.

"Why?" He asked, tapping the wheel mindlessly. "She's my best friend, I want her to be happy. And if that requires going on a date with her brother on a Friday night, well. So be it." I replied. "You know, you're really not at all how people talk about you." He said. I smiled, a small laugh escaping my lips.

"What is it?" He asked. "I don't know, it's just so weird to me how much people care about what everyone else is doing." I said. "Yeah, I don't really get it either. It's mostly people who don't have shit to do that come up with the most random stuff." Rafe chuckled.

We talked aimlessly for a little bit, continuing to drive when I suddenly yelled at him to pull over. "What? Here?" He asked, pulling into the next parking lot, empty. "Yeah, come on." I smiled, getting out and going around to Rafe's side of the car.

"Empty parking lot? Really? You know, y/l/n... If you wanna fuck me, then just say that." Rafe smirked, his hands draped loosely around my waist. I rolled my eyes, taking his hand and pulling him towards the beach. "Where are we going, y/n?" Rafe complained. "Shut up with all your damn whining and just come on." I huffed.

We walked a bit further until we reached where I was headed. An abandoned pier covered in fairy lights, blankets and pillows. "What is this?" He asked. "You ask a lot of questions, you know." I commented.

"Man, I forgot this place was even here." I sighed, collapsing back onto the pile of pillows. "How clean are these?" Rafe asked tentatively, nudging one with his foot. "Would you just come on?" I snapped, yanking him down by his hand. "Look," I whispered when he was finally laying on his back beside me.

The sky was so clear, and the stars and moon were so bright. The night sky has always been mesmerizing to me, the most beautiful thing to witness. "Damn." Rafe commented. "Right?" I giggled. "How'd you find this spot?" He asked.

"More questions?" I asked, glaring. He shrugged. "I don't remember it entirely, but I know I found this place with Sarah and our old friend, Kiara." I said. "Kiara? Like, the Kook that acts like a Pogue, Kiara?" He questioned. "I guess, if that's what you refer to her as." I shrugged.

"I thought I was going to hate tonight." Rafe said suddenly after a few moments of heavy silence. "Hm. And now?" I asked, glancing over at him as he stared at the sky. "I don't." He said, as if it had been obvious. "Well, that's good. 'Cause neither do I."

He glanced at me and we locked eyes, and he stretched his hand up, holding it there. I raised my eyebrow, confused and he rolled his eyes, pulling me closer to him. He rested his arm around my shoulder as I turned into him, my hand resting on his chest, feeling it rise and fall.

"How often do you come out here?" Rafe asked. "Sorry, I know it's another question. Last one, I promise." He added. "Hmm... I don't know. Not as often anymore. Once every couple months maybe, just to clean the stuff so it doesn't get disgusting." I admitted.

"Would you want to come back with me, tomorrow?" He asked, his eyes darting back and forth as he examined the sky. I smiled, genuinely, glad that tonight hadn't been the hot mess I had expected.

"Sure."
