Jungkook
Humming, I work on my drawing, trying to perfect it. Today, I started class later and left relatively early into the school day since I only have two short classes. Jimin, on the other hand, had morning classes and afternoon classes and will get back relatively soon.
"Hey, Siri, call Jimin," I say and the phone does just that.
"What is it?" Jimin asks with a groan, picking up on the first ring.
I smirk. "Your omega wants a milkshake."
"You aren't my omega."
"Alpha, my heat just ended and I'm so sad. Why don't you take care of me? You're my boyfriend, right? You wouldn't want me to be in a depressed mood when I meet your grandmother today, would you?"
He sighs. "Chocolate and vanilla swirl?"
"You know me so well, baby. I miss you so much." I hold back a cackle. "I need your scent beside me~"
"If you stop fake flirting, I'll get you a large fry."
"Really? Am I that good of a boy? Do I deserve all of the treats~?"
"Medium."
"Chimmyyyyy."
"Small."
"Fine. Thank you for the food, my roommate who I have completely platonic feelings for."
Jimin laughs. "Anything else you need?"
"You to be receptive of me when I'm in character. I don't want to look like a fool." I blush. "Like, you have to play along too or else I'll be pretending for nothing and embarrassing myself."
"I'll try my best to be a good alpha for you."
"That's all I ask, baby."
The raven hangs up on me and I return to my drawing. Although I'm having fun messing with Jimin and playing this role, it is anxiety-inducing. Jimin has never been interested in stuff like this, but I know I'll still get hurt if he doesn't treat me well.
His opinion has always mattered a lot to me.
When I was a freshman, I had Jimin to guide me through college. He and I met on the campus's roommate search and we seemed to just click. Although we have different majors and are from different years, we've never really had huge disagreements. We just argue just to argue sometimes. It never gets toxic. It's something to keep us stimulated.
The fact that this is Jimin's last year of undergraduate school makes me feel things that I can't quite place. I'm scared if he leaves, I won't be able to handle myself. He always has my best interest at heart, even when I myself don't.
Jimin takes really good care of me.
I close my eyes and run my fingers over the birth control implant, zoning out. Although I'm relatively confident with my acting skills, I can't help but let my nerves consume me. Questions like, 'What will Jimin's grandmother think?' and more importantly, 'What will Jimin think?' begin to eat me up until a pair of small, firm, but gentle hands land on my shoulders.
"What are you drawing?"
In a flash, I slam the sketchbook closed. "Nothing."
The raven shrugs. "Food is in the kitchen. I can bring it in here if you'd rather eat alone."
Blushing, I nod before realizing that probably makes no sense. "I'll eat with you, baby~"
Jimin quirks an eyebrow. "I know you're not okay. That little flirty façade might work on others, but not on me, Jungkookie."
I roll my eyes and stand up, turning around to hug the alpha. He hugs back without question and I close my eyes, burying my face in his neck.
"Jungkook, I can find someone else."
"No, I'm just shy." I scrunch my nose up.
"I know." He pats my head. "But I'll be there too, so it'll be alright."
Humming, I rub my nose against the scent gland. "Pretty alpha."
"Mhm, come on, pretty omega. Your fries will get cold and your milkshake will melt."
That's all it takes for me to dash out of my room and to my designated spot at the kitchen island. I clap, taking a sip of the milkshake before looking through the bag and finding a large fry.
"Ah, I love being Jimin's spoiled omega." I hum and dance to the fridge and grab some sweet chili sauce to dip my fries in.
Jimin drinks a glass of water from the fridge and watches me. "We need a safe word."
I look at him and smirk. "Kinky."
"Shut it." Jimin snaps. "It's just... my grandmother can be pretty intense and when it comes to omegas, she has like no boundaries, yet expects you to have all the boundaries. It's really draining. For example, she could make dirty comments, but you have to be more refined than that. If she likes you, you might be able to get away with more stuff though."
"Understood, Daddy."
"Don't call me that in front of my grandmother," he hisses.
"Ah, I see. I should only call you 'Daddy' when you're fucking into me~"
Jimin massages his temples. "Never. You should never call me that."
I pout and eat a fry. "You better be affectionate or else I'll dump you."
"Since when have you received affection from an alpha?"
"Everytime I'm around you." I flutter my eyelashes like this is part of the teasing even though it's the truth. Jimin is the most affectionate alpha in my life. He'll hug me and show me he cares in all sorts of ways without sex even being a topic of discussion.
Jimin threads his fingers through my hair. "I'll stay close to you. We just need a word or something that means that you need to get away."
Humming, I take a sip of my shake and contemplate. A word or phrase may be too obvious. It needs to be something quiet that won't draw attention to any other parties.
Once I get it, I stand up and have Jimin stand as well. "This will be my cue to you."
My hand finds his and I squeeze, leaning in to kiss his shoulder at the same time.
When I look up into Jimin's eyes, he's blushing faintly.
"Are you sure?"
"I'm positive." I smile and do it again.
Author's Note: Shoulder kisses are my weakness. Anyone excited to see what happens when JK meets Jimin's grandmother?
Thoughts on the story thus far?
Make sure to take care and love yourself as best as you can.
