Hello, thank you for staying with me through my writing journey for Omega for Hire. I had a fun time writing it. I'm nervous about the attention it might get in the future since it isn't a normal Omegaverse dynamic. This isn't my first Omegaverse book, nor will it be my last. When I first encountered it, I was about fourteen and it was really uncomfortable for me. Not because of the Mpreg, but because of how it seemed like everything was super stereotypical (that I came across) and perpetuated r— culture. So I stayed away.
But I came across a web comic on Tapas that's about Jikook. It's called Promises of Love. It made me fall in love with the concept. I thought the concept of scents, bonds, and mates (if done both ways) was really cute and wanted to do it for myself. Anything I didn't like, I wouldn't write. That's why I don't write knots. The thought of being attached with someone is terrifying. Especially considering not all people are nice and caring. Consent can be revoked at any time. So how could I write something that'd make it so someone can't pull out? And worse, the thought of abusers having that ability didn't sit well with me.
I've been enjoying the way I write Omegaverse, even though some people have been quite vocal about their distaste. So I hope I'll keep writing and those who like it will continue reading. 😖 Anywho, here are my other Omegaverse books thus far:
1. Outliers
This is the book that started it all. It's where I establish the social aspect of the Omegaverse and introduce certain ideas and terminology. It's top Jimin and bottom Kook. It's where I start to talk about the stereotypes among the classes.
2. His Guardian
