As the years go by, baji's appearance continues to change. But Y/n is almost the same as the day they met.
The sky tinted orange signaling the beginning of the sleeping sun, shadows begin to show and light was little to none.
Both walk silently beside each other after they spent hours playing with the kite. Y/n, like always guided Keisuke back to his home.
A butterfly landed on her mask stopping her from walking. She looked at it before shining it on the sundown.
Its orchid wing's gleamed in the light as it illuminated it's whole body.
Keisuke noticed her stopping, turning around to the sight of her tilting her head upwards, the mountain shadows gracing her background as the butterfly flap in her mask.
It truly is a sight to behold. Keisuke knew no one as ethereal as the girl standing before him. No, he never really met any girl except for mikey's sister and his mom. But if you asked Baji now who is the most beautiful creation in this universe.
Without a doubt, Baji would say Y/n's name.
Fully taking of Her mask, Y/n's face came to view. A masterpiece of a great artist they named her. Her aura sparkled white as it added to the effect of nature. Yes, y/n truly is a enthralling ghostly song.
On a hot summer morning, Keisuke was found laying in the floor of his uncles house. Fanning himself to cool his temperature.
He was thinking of various things, a bowl of peyoung yakisoba, his friends, people he accidentally kicked ass with, and y/n.
Y/n.
'Someday I'll be older than Y/n won't I?' He thought.
He stared at the ceiling in wonder. What would he do if that time comes? What would he do if y/n dissapears? No one knows.
He closed his eyes, covering them with the fan. Hearing footsteps approach where he was, his uncle popped by the door.
"Oh! Keisuke" he said. "I cut some watermelons and cooked some yakisoba. Let's eat."
Hearing the word yakisoba, Baji rise from the dead.
Munching on his watermelon, Keisuke and his uncle enjoyed the food happily.
"Where's mom?" Yes baji's mom went with them this summers vacation. Saying her son needs someone to look out for him.
"She's with your aunt, they're shopping for gifts to send to their friends in yokohama." his uncle said.
"Also, What time are you taking the bullet train tomorrow?" he asked.
Keisuke stopped slurping his yakisoba, gulping it down.
"I dont know, but they said I'll still be here until the afternoon." he said.
His uncle hummed "Is that so"
They continued eating, spitting the watermelon seeds on the ground and finishing up the yakisoba.
"This summer's weather was good so the watermelon taste sweet."
"If it continues like this then winter will be freezing."
Baji looked at him confused. Heck he doesn't know how weather works. He can't even spell some words right.
"Huh? Is it like that?" he asked.
"It's like that, since this area's located between mountains and the ocean's far away." His uncle said.
Pausing and biting into the watermelon "The temperature difference between summer and winter is huge" he said in a mouth full.
"The cold of a winter that follows and especially hot summer, could probably freeze the mountain god himself." he continued.
Baji thought for a minute, then he remembered y/n. If this years winter is cold then she'll suffer in the mountains. And Keisuke did not want that.
"Uhm...uncle"
"Hmm?"
Y/n holds the wrapped scarf in her hands, it was given just now by keisuke.
"A...scarf?" she said, raising her non viewable eyebrows.
Baji grinned "Yep! Please use it in the winter, dont want you dying on me from the cold" he said putting his hands behind his head.
"Well i gotta go my mom will be worried, Bye!" he said and walked away.
Y/N looked at his retreating figure, her heart filled with happiness. How caring of him to even give her something to protect herself from the freezing winter.
Hugging the scarf in her chest, she smiled behind her mask.
"..okay" she said.
Baji turned around again, waving his hands in the air.
"See you next year y/n!" he shouted before running off.
Y/n raised her hands slowly, waving him goodbye back.
"See you..."
So thats the beginning of the season filled of chilly wonders.
