The beginning of summer symbolizes various things.

But for Baji keisuke its only meaning is a visit to his uncle up the narrow mountain.

In the early morning when the sun kissed the sky, the household of the baji family was busy preparing for another week of stress.

Baji's mother, Mizuki, was busy preparing the stove to cook up a go to breakfast. Baji's father, Haruto, was preparing his clothes for work.

While the parents were occupied doing their daily routine. Up the second floor, keisuke was busy trying to stay awake.

Why was he up so early you ask? Well he was going to pack up for his mini summer vacation which he was forced to.

The nine year old kid was too busy dropping and yawning in bed to notice his mother by the door holding what seemed to be a spatula.

"Baji keisuke wake up, we need to prepare you so that we can drop you off your uncle's house." his mother's voice was enough to shake up his nervous system. Was his mothers voice always this loud?

"okkkkkkk" he lazily said and waddle of to the bathroom to take a bath. Being a nine year old, baji still uses a cheap three in one shampoo. He believed it makes his hair more silky and shiny.

After taking a long bath, by the meaning of it he fell asleep while in the water. His mother came in his room with the clothes he's suppose to wear.

Now don't get him wrong but going to a place very unfamiliar to you doesn't sound to appealing to him. It doesn't mean that he didn't want to visit the old man but he just want to stay at home and sleep maybe even set a few house on fire, and chug down yakisoba until he chokes.

"Now kei I need you to behave ok, your uncle is to old for your hyperness. Don't talk to strangers and also don't wonder off to god knows where."

And keisuke being keisuke didn't listen at all.

Now he ended up being lost in the thick forest surrounded by massive tress. After dropping him off the house of his uncle, baji directly went into the woods not before asking permission ofcourse.

Finding a cool looking shrine in the forest, He always heard of the mountain god so the curious cat he is checked the place out. He was not paying attention enough and wandered to far.

"Why are there to many trees?! And why is it so hot?!" his little stomp and grumbling can be heard echoing through out the quiet greenery.

"Ugh...hik.." He wasn't crying he swear. He was just scared, alone and tired in a place which he didn't know obviously he shoudn't panic.

"Psst"

Caught of guard by the sudden sound, Baji tripped over an overgrown root in the ground. He whined and sat up looking for the source of the noise.
