Waking up to a chilly morning, Keisuke prepared his school uniform and bag.

Going to the kitchen to eat breakfast, he was greeted by his mom cooking eggs and making soup.

"Good morning mom" he said

"Oh! Keisuke you're up, Here eat your breakfast." she said. Handing him a plate of scrambled eggs, a bowl of rice and a bowl of soup. She went to the fridge, getting a jar of water, pouring it in a glass before handing it to him.

Keisuke thanked for the food and devour it by a minute. Cleaning his mess, he fix his hair and checked if everything was in place.

"Mom I'm leaving" he said, kissing his mother on the cheek. His mom hummed looking at him from head to toe. His neck tie was not tied right as it wrinkled in his uniform.

"Keisuke fix your necktie next time" she said, fixing her son's uniform. After she was satisfied she bid him goodbye.

Baji peddled silently in the sidewalk going to chifuyu's house to fetch him. His breath fogging his face as he rode to the street of chifuyu's house.

Arriving he spotted chifuyu by the gate with hi bag slinging on his shoulder waiting for him.

" Good morning baji-san" he said

"Good morning chifuyu" he greeted back.

Chifuyu climb on the seat at the back signaling baji to start peddling. They quitely ride to their school.

The Sky was slowly getting bright as the still freezing air pass by their skin. The frozen road was slippery for the tires but baji controlled it easily.

Baji spaced out, only focusing on the road not hearing chifuyu calling out to him.

"Baji-san. BA-JI-SAN!" he softly yelled.

Snapping out of his lost thoughts, baji looked behind to chifuyu in question.

"What is it?" he asked. Chifuyu was about to asked him about his test, but suddenly a street post was on their way. He yelled, tightly grabing baji's shoulder preparing for the impact.

"BAJI-SAN A POST!"

"a what-"

They crashed into the metal and rolled in the icy road, groaning from the pain Chifuyu sat up and glared at him.

"YOU DUMDASS WHY ARE YOU NOT LOOKING AT THE ROAD!"

"HOW IS IT MY FAULT?! YOU DISTRACTED ME!"

"YOU WERE SPACING OUT IN THE FIRST PLACE YOU OFFBRAND VAMPIRE!"

They continued bickering, until a girl with the similar uniform as them, appeared giving them a hand. They thanked
her and left the broken bike and just walk their way to school.

"Its cold today" chifuyu started the conversation. Baji looked at him and hummed.

"You've been a little out of it lately, are you ok baji-san?" he asked.

Baji shrugged, grinning at him before giving him a thumbs up.

"Don't worry about it chifuyu, Everything is fine" he said. Chifuyu raised an eyebrow bit doubting his statement but he believed in it anyways.

"If you say so baji-san, also want to share peyoung yakisoba later at lunch?" he said

Baji nodded in agreement. " Ofcourse it's tradition to split it now!" he said.

Chifuyu chuckled, they enjoyed the walk to school silently nothing but the wind whispering through the air guiding them.

Why was baji spacing out you asked? He just wanted to finish winter, so that he can see Y/n again. His mind also wonder....

He wanted to touch Y/n.

Far the mountain, Covered in snow. Looking like a ice-cold wonderland. A certain spirit was sitting on the staircase looking at the falling snowflakes.

She was wearing proper attire for winter instead of her summer one. The scarf given by keisuke wrapped around her neck.

She enjoyed the white covered ground, removing her mask to breath the air. Creating fog as she closed her eyes. Thinking of the same thing.

Their minds are connected and their souls are bounded. Like the water and oil, they are the same as to they are different. Like the sun and moon baji keisuke and y/n are tied by faith but wrecked by destiny. So just like that another year passed.
