You must bear with me. Because writing and following different ideas, is how I survive and stay mentally healthy and happy
This time, it's a story about an emperor and a poor palace daughter.

Everyone thought the emperor had a perfect life. Emperor Choi Young was said as someone extremely tall and handsome, smart and charming. He was married with Lady Chae Young, a member of the Park Clan, when he was still a crown prince.
The Park Clan was a family that had provided Goryo Queens for many centuries. His mother was a Park. It's a family that was the most noble in their background, only a little less than the Royal Lee.
Many ministers were also from the Park Clan.
When his father passed away and he took the throne, many ministers praised his intelligence and effective decisions.
He had two children with Queen Chae Young. A daughter and a son.
From the outside, his life seemed incredible and flawless.
But truthfully, there were many things that were different with the people's opinions.
First, he hated his wife.
He had long known that his queen would be from the Park Family. She was someone he was ordered to marry.
After they married, he found her as a pretty shell with a rotten heart.
Chae Young was beautiful. But she was greedy and cruel. He knew she'd torture the maids if they angered her. She was forever buying jewels and dresses, until her huge monthly allowance were all gone within a week.
She would always demanded more money, and he would always deny it.
Copulation with someone you hate felt like a chore. Sometimes he thought they were both prostitutes. She for her greed, he for his duties.
He had to have sex with Chae Young once a month back then. They'd wait whether she'd have her period or not. If not, he must do it again the next month.
He was so relieved when Chae Young got pregnant, and didn't miss his monthly obligation. But when she had a daughter, he had to repeat spending one night with her again each month.
