Dawn just broke in Bali, and Go Eun woke up because her baby kicked her inside. She's entering her fifth month, and the morning sickness had subsided, but she got used of waking up at dawn.
She sat up and watched Min Ho Oppa beside her, who was sleeping soundly with his hands above his head. She once told him, the way he slept reminded her of an octopus.
He had laughed, then.
How unbelievable their current situation was. They had always been around each other for as long as she could remember. She, him, Ye Jin unnie and Hyun Bin Oppa, they all grew up together.
They started sleeping together around eight months previously. And that first time was so explosive. It was super hot, with sparks flying and her mind was wiped clean of any other thoughts but him.
She liked the sex so much she kept doing him a lot more. Then she was suddenly pushed to marry Park Jin Young, someone who her parents thought was perfect for her.
Ye Jin unnie was correct. She could've cut things off with Min Ho Oppa and had any other man's baby. Why then, did she made him her baby's father?
The conversation with Ye Jin unnie made her think about things she avoided. In her deepest heart, she knew that even if she made herself pregnant without telling him, he would never curse her or hate her. She knew he would definitely support her.
However, knowing him so well, she knew for sure that he never had any committed relationship with a woman before, ever. The same as her. They were animals of the same species and breed. It's impossible for her to jump into marriage with him without a long and thorough consideration.
Living together in Bali was a test, no doubt. She found that they were both very stubborn, and it physically hurt them to bend and adapt to each other's wishes, yet she hadn't kicked him out of her life. Would she ever?
Was it because of the baby?
The baby brought them closer, indeed. However, if she ever going to marry anyone, it made perfect sense to marry Lee Min Ho. Someone from the same background as her, gorgeous, awesome in bed, and would do anything for her.
What horrified her the most was how would she be if they didn't work out? Would she survive it or not?
Somehow, he stirred, then woke up.
"Go Eun?"
"Hi."
"You ok?"
"Ne. I didn't throw up, just woke up."
"What time is it?" he asked, reaching for his phone on the bedside table. It was 4.30 AM.
