Eun Gyo believed crossing paths with the same man four days in a row was not a good sign. Koh Hansu was standing there, waiting for her beside the newspapers seller. She hurried to bow at him then marched away, her bundles in both hands.

He followed her.

No matter how fast she walked, he could match her steps.

"There's a photo of Japan again, today."

Hansu could see her eyes moving to the newspaper on his hand.

She fought the battle of ignoring him or snatching it silently. She finally snatched it without a word, standing at the side of the road and flipping the papers quickly.

There's a picture of the prime minister of Japan that day. She couldn't read anything, but that must be an important person.

"That's the Prime Minister of Japan," Hansu informed.

She folded the newspaper neatly, then returned it to him.

"Who's in Japan?"

She gathered her bundles and began walking home after bowing to him.

Eun Gyo didn't answer, although he kept walking beside her.

"Haven't you heard, young girl, that I live in Japan?"

She hadn't. Eun Gyo had the habit of closing her ears when people gossiped. She only knew that Hansu was the new fishbroker. It didn't occur to her to wonder where he came from.

But he lived in Japan, the place where Sunja Agassi was!

This young girl was very interesting, Hansu thought. Japan definitely meant something for her, because she turned to him, but she wasn't really seeing him. She's lost in her own thoughts.

"Osaka. Have you been there, Sir?"

"I live there."

The surprise was evident on her face. She's impressed, he knew that. Of the place where she lived. Not because of him.

This young girl knew he was very rich, yet she had tried her best to stay away from him, from a reason he couldn't understand. But when he mentioned she lived in Osaka, she looked impressed for the first time.

He walked to her until he's close enough to speak in a low tone. "Does your sweetheart live in Osaka."

"My Agassi. She lives there now."

The relief Koh Hansu felt when he heard her answer was ridiculous.

"I can tell you more about Osaka."
