"  "  - stands for someone's thoughts, while  " I'm"  - stands for a dialogue.

 Unknown P.O.V *

I wandered inside Vrinden Iovera, alone, as usual. I'm sure it was an odd sight. A random student of 15, alone, walking around, staring at everything like it's the first time they are outside in the world. I didn't care. I needed to get to know as much as possible about the school campus, every nook and canny. They expected me to know it like the back of my hand, and to explore it all within a week.

I sighed internally. The boss really has high expectations, and I did not want to let him down or make him angry. I kept an innocent and lost look on my face as I started looking around.

"Hi there, welcome to Vrienden Iovera! I'm Intrise, what's your name?", a voice startled me. I didn't flinch or show it. I had been trained for 7 years now, a random voice couldn't scare me.

I looked over to see a girl with straight, long brown hair and hazel eyes. She had a kind look around her face, but she also had a strong aura. She was Intrise, I realized, the new girl I had heard about.

"Em-emily" I stammered out on purpose, trying to make myself seem as young and innocent as possible.

"Thats a really cute name, Emily, and  you have beautiful blonde hair. And your green eyes really stand out too. I love your green eyes. I'm Intrise, bt the way. You seem lost though? Would you like me to give you a tour?", she asked me with a kind smile.

'YES!!', I smirked internally,'This was going to make my job much easier!'. "Y-yes please. I usu-usually have my sister with m-me". I kept up my act, though I had to blink back my tears which were threatening to spill down.

"Not now", I thought, "not here. DEFINITELY not while I'm on a misson.".

"I see....well, come on then, let me help you taste some of Iovera's croissants, the bakery we get them from have French bakers and they are the best!" , she exclaimed, looking a little too excited for someone who's 16 and has supposedly experienced a lot.

I bit my lips and wondered for a moment, when was the last time I had a good snack? When I was 5, perhaps? The temptation was too much, and even though I could hear the boss's words ringing in my ears, I put on an excited face (which wasn't hard to make) and quickly took hold Intrise's hand. I made sure to not let go of her, and hold on tightly to her.

I didn't want to get separated from the ticked to my freedom so soon. I was going to get belted either ways, with or without the croissants.

We set off towards the inside of the building, and even though I'm not much of a nerd, I couldn't help but marvel at the beautiful architecture of the place. The designs were so detailed and set, it was magnificent. I could see why people always rave about the school building, it was worth seeing.
I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't almost missed out Intrise asking me how old I was.

"I-I'm 14, b-but I'll be turning 15 soon..." , I stammered out, keeping up with the act. I could tell she was falling for it.

We were walking down a halfway and into what seemed to be the cafeteria when a girl with auburn hair and deep brown eyes came over and stuck out her foot.
I could have avoided it, but I saw that Intrise was just within the range to catch me and saw this as an opportunity to play along with my entire act.

I stumbled slightly, but as I predicted, Intrise caught me and then glared at the mean looking girl.

"Well well well, look who's here. A helpless scum with a dumb blond. Nice pair, you two.", the girl said, and I recognised her voice. I had to bite back a snarl. It was Crystalina Perplokos.

"Leave us be, Crystalina, it's none of your business who I hang out with." Intrise snarled at her.

"Whatever, see you friendless losers later!", she flipped her hair and sashayed away.

I watched her go with hate, and them shook myself slightly, determined to stay in character. I became trembling slightly, and made the fear evident in my eyes.

Intrised smiled reassuringly at me and tried to calm me down, but I refused to try letting my rest until I was presented with a chocolate shake and two croissants.

Finishing the last few drops of my shake,I asked Intrise in a shaky voice, "Wh-who was she?" . I made sure she could hear the fear in my voice.

She smiled reassuringly at me again.
"Just a mean girl from my school.", she said, "You don't need to worry about Crystalina, she won't bother us of a much. I'll take care of her."

I nodded convincingly, but cursed inside. Crystalina Perplokos could seriously mess up our plans. Boss won't be happy that she's here. I'll have to get her out of the way soon. Or it won't end happily for me. It was going to be tough, but it had to be done, or I was a gone case.

I didn't share any of my worries with Intrise though, and instead smiled at her, making sure my smile could reach my eyes. She smiled back, and I knew I had her wrapped around my fingers.

I wondered about her friends and how I could befriend them too. Or did they really ditch her after that day? Honestly, it was so confusing.

I was about to ask her about her friend circle, when suddenly we heard a voice calling out Intrise's name, and the next thing I knew, we were surrounded by a crowd.

"Hi you all. Where were you guys? I lost you so easily in the crowds!" Intrise complained while hugging the brown haired girl- Maya.

"Long story short Connor saw someone he thought he knew but ended up embarrassing himself so we had towards cover it up.", the tall and lanky singer boy from The Voice 2020- Stan- rushed out while grabbing a seat.

I noticed the youngest singer-Max- staring at me, but I ignored him. I didn't have time for boys, not that I wanted to waste time on them. Intrise cleared her throat and everyone shook themselved up.

The Max boy looked at Intrise and asked, "So who's the little beauty here?", while grabbing a seat next to me.

"I- I'm Emily Raincomprix from Daffodils Boarding Academy.", I stammered, deciding to keep up with my act. Who knows, maybe it'll turn out to be useful to me in the end.

"Well, the name of the school fits, I guess. Are all students pretty as a flower or is it just the one I was fated to meet, Miss Raincomprix?"
Max winked at me.

I blushed, not only to keep up with my act, but also because I couldnt help it. It's been ages since anyone had complimented me. I noticed the rest of group  gasp and stare in surprise. I could guess that Max was never really the one to flirt.

I saw Intrise smirk, and I knew what she was thinking. This was going to be interesting.
