Once Xavier was inside the house, I knew I had hit a major nerve within him. I looked down at the half full vial of blood in my hand and I knew he was going to retaliate in one way or another. I put the vial in the center console and looked down at my phone seeing a text from Frank.

Arsenal is at the gym in my office. You know the code. Be careful.

As much as I felt bad about what I said to Xavier, I had to do what I needed to do. In the end, it would help him too. If everything goes as I hoped it would, nobody would be out to get him too. Well, nobody from the government that is. Once word goes around within the supernatural hunters community that there's a super soldier vampire running around, all bets are off. You'll have every Tom, Dick, and Harry gunning for Xavier.

Parking the car across the street from the gym, as soon as I stepped out into the cool night air, I felt that I was being watched. I closed the driver's side door and nonchalantly glanced over at the black van parked up the street. Using my enhanced vision, I spotted two mens sitting in the van, dressed all in black. My ears perked up as I turned towards the gym and began walking to the door.

"Subject in sight, walking into location."

A smirk formed on my lips. Perfect, just what I wanted. I just have to make this quick.

I put in the passcode for the door to unlock and stepped inside the dark gym. The only light was coming from the two exit signs that illuminated red and the street lights that peered in. I walked past the punching bags and the boxing ring and walked up the metal stairs into Frank's office, which was locked. I put in the key code again and walked inside. I pushed his desk and chair over to the side, making a screeching sound as the legs glided across the concrete floor. The rug that laid on the floor I moved as well, revealing the built in safe Frank had put in. I put in the passcode, which happened to be my birthday, and it unlocked. I pulled the heavy door open and was met with all the shiny weapons a girl can dream of.

My ears perked up at the sound of booted feet in the distance as I grabbed a few knives and placed them on my usual spots. It only took thirty seconds for them to enter the gym as I was gathering more guns. I peeked out the window from the office that led down to the entire gym, seeing them come through both doors, one to my right and the other on my left. Soldiers came in with full on black ops gear, head to toe in black wardrobe, assault rifles. Some had night vision goggles, and some didn't. That only meant this team was a mix of enhanced beings and regular soldiers.

Very bold of them to send in a full on black ops team in the middle of Red Hook, Brooklyn.

I dropped back down in a crouching position and made sure I had enough weapons before closing the safe as quietly as I could before moving towards the door. I peeked over the railing, seeing at least a dozen men, six on each side of me.

"Welp, here goes nothing." I whispered to myself as I blew out a deep breath.

I stood up and jumped up on the bar of the staircase beside the door and leaped into the air, landing on the shoulders of one of the men. He went down just by the force of the impact, his throat touching the ground, snapping his neck almost instantly.

"Thanks for the cushioning landing, bro." I said, grabbing his rifle out of his hands and took out three of the others behind him before they realized what had happened.

I swung the strap from the rifle across my shoulder and took one of the bodies and used it as my shield as the others began using me for target practice. I eyed the soldiers without night vision, they seemed to be the ones up front, the ones shooting at me. Seeing the soldier I was holding onto had a knife on his waist, I grabbed it and threw it to the soldier on my right, landing it in between his eyes. As his body went down like a sack of potatoes, I ran towards the soldier on my left before tossing my human shield at him hard, knocking him down. I grabbed the rifle that was across my chest now and fired three bullets at the soldiers without goggles and sprinted away from my spot, dropping down behind the boxing ring.
