headcanon that one time texas got really drunk and pissed off so he took his anger out by shoving rhode island in the washing machine and he tURNED IT ON.
rhode island is forever scarred and is now afraid of doing laundry.
connecticut does not like doing rhode island's laundry.
if rhode island's being annoying, it's a running joke for the other states to threaten him by saying "shut up or i'll stuff you in the washing machine again"
and he shuts up IMMEDIATELY.
y'know- bc rhode island is short and small.
