"...forever."

"So what do you want for dinner?"

"Hmm.." Chaewon was cutted off by the sound of phone ringing from her pocket. She reached for her phone and immediately answered the call after seeing that it's her mother.

"Yes, eomma?"
"Did you forget about the family gathering?"

"Oh right! I did, I'm sorry. I'll be there in 5."
"Just tell us where are you, we're leaving now."

"Well, I'm in the famous garden where the flower shop you usually buy from is located."
"Okay, we'll be there in a few minutes."

"We'll be waiting." Chaewon then heard the sound of call ending. She looks at Minju who heard it as she put it in speaker mode.

"You could've told me that you will have an event to attend so we went home early." Minju said as they went out from the exit.

"Just like what I said, I forgot about it. Don't blame me, I was enjoying so much that I forgot." Minju nodded and patted her head. She told her to wait there for a while as she will just get something. Minju went to the flower shop, she bought a small bouquet of red roses then went back to Chaewon.

"It's not a surprise anymore but here. A little souvenir for today." She said to the older as she handed the bouquet to Chaewon. Chaewon smiled at her and felt a little sad that she couldn't give anything to Minju.

"Yah, Kim Minju. Let me treat you this Friday, I won't take no as an answer." Minju laughed at her seeing where is this coming from. She nodded and agreed nonetheless.

"You know that I can take a kiss as a thank you." The younger wiggled her eyebrows at the older who punch her softly with her tiny fist.

"We're in the public, Minju-yah!" The said person just laughed seeing the flustered latter in front of her. She just hugged her. 'I knew things are going well when I'm with you.' She thought as she didn't feel her heart aching, not even once since they met this morning. She was rather thankful than confused.

"I love you." Minju said and Chaewon casually replied at the older. Minju may have not felt any pain the whole time but she didn't forget telling the older the same three words. It must be something automatic on her mouth now. Even so, she mean it every single time she say those words.

Soon a car stopped in front of them but they didn't notice until the driver rolled the window down and called. "You two looks so cute hugging but mind us if we disturb your sweet time."  The two broke from the hug and Minju felt a little shy about that which is one of those rare moments for Chaewon so she chuckled at her.

"You should go in now, unnie. Thank you for the time." Minju was waving at Chaewon who waved back at her.

"Thank you for today too! I appreciate it all." She said as she went in at the backseat.

"How about you hop in too, Minju? We can take you home first, it won't take us a lot of time." Chaewon's father offered to the girl standing beside the car. Minju politely declined despite both of Chaewon's parents persuading her. "It's not a long way home from here, you should go as I couldn't take Chaewon home on time. Take care on your way, uncle and aunt."

"Well, if you insist. Thank you for letting Chaewon enjoy, it shows on her face."

"Appa!"

"Take care, Minju!" Chaewon's mother said as she waved from the passenger seat. Minju bowed at them and waved at Chaewon. With that, the car left leaving Minju alone. She smiled feeling satisfied with the day, she surely enjoyed the day. She got her air pods, placing them on her ears as she played her favorite song.
