She got more curious as to where they will go, there's not much to see near their place as they mostly have seen every place there. They always have seen them everytime they chose to go out for their Saturday hangout instead of staying home. They arrived in a flower shop that is near the gates of their neighborhood, Chaewon was confused. It's dark now and what will they do in a flower shop. Minju smiled sweetly at her before she held her hand. The bells attached on the door chimed as it announced that they have come in. They were greeted by Minju's older cousin who's in the counter, Chaewon didn't know that they're related but she noticed the smile and look that they know each other. He greeted them and led them once again outside the shop. They walked not too far from the shop and they stopped in front of a gate that has lights in it. It looked cute with the "Welcome" written on it in pink. He opened the gate and said, "There will be a few staff at the entrance but you'll be on your own further the garden, you can always call for the staff if you need anything." He gestured them to come in and Minju thanked him before walking in.
They walked a little more to be greeted by the staffs Minju's cousin have mentioned in the main entrance of the garden. Chaewon is in awe seeing the wonderful sight before her eyes. It was a path filled with flowers and plants decorated as if it was a place for tourism. The lights in variety of colors designed with them made the scene more pleasing and lovely. Minju chuckled at the older's reaction of the place. She was holding her with her right hand then she used her left hand to put it on top of Chaewon's. "There's more to see, prepare your eyes and heart." Chaewon smiled and nod excitedly, without words coming out from her lips. They walked further the place and have seen different types of flowers, the darkness of the night couldn't hide the beauty of each one of them. Chaewon would look around in awe as she looked a little lost, not knowing where to look first. "There's no hurry, you can look at each one of them as much as you want. It won't be free next time." Minju said as she can't help but adore Chaewon's reaction. Despite of the smile on her face, her heart is beating fast knowing that the time is getting near. They took some pictures as well with Minju's film camera and Polaroid camera that she brought with her. They walked further and found more flowers to admire until they reach a pathway that looked pretty identical with the one on the entrance so Chaewon thought it was done.
"This place is lovely! How did you find this?"
"I'm pretty sure you noticed that the person in charge knows me, he was my cousin. He will open this garden for people to visit maybe next week, if I'm not mistaken."
"So we're the first one to visit it?" Chaewon surprisingly asked as she thought that they got so busy at school that they didn't know this opened. Minju just nodded at her loving how she reacts. She was naturally cute that whatever she do looks very adorable even she's not trying to. Soon, they reached a wooden gate that's just a push through to open. Minju stopped making Chaewon stop as well, confused of the younger's action.
"Go ahead, you see it for yourself first." Minju said encouraging the older to go first which she obliged after getting a confirmation. She was ready to be greeted by a familiar street from their neighborhood as she assumed because of the long walk around the garden, instead it was another part of the garden. Her heart warmed up and her eyes were much more fed up. It's a room, well without a roof, full of roses. She was wondering why she hadn't seen any roses on their walk a while ago and now they're all here in front of her eyes. She soon felt Minju's presence beside her that made her look at the younger. "You like it?" "I love it."
Her favourite flowers are gathered here, thanks with the great lights that made them look even more aesthetic. All of the sudden, the lights flicker which made Chaewon jump a little, proceeding to hold at Minju who's surprisingly calm. Usually she'll be the first to jump and yell but she didn't budge as if she had expected it to happen. On the flickering aesthetics lights, some letters are forming and soon a sentence was formed which made Chaewon shocked. She looked at Minju in shock and Minju sweetly smiled at her and nod. What does it say? "Kim Chaewon, I love you." Minju faced Chaewon and held both of her hands.
"I know that I had time to think of my response but I promise you, this is what I really felt for you. I wouldn't say any excuse about it. Just like you, I never knew when it started to develop in me. I just woke up one day that the way my heart beats when I'm with you is different. You've always been pretty since we're young and you know that I always tell you that. Since I had this feeling toward you, your beauty seem to be more dangerous. I don't know why I felt this and how I started loving you but I'm telling you that this is true. I'm sincere. I'm deeply in love with you, Kim Chaewon." Minju told her how she truly feel, there are more things that she had wish to say but she was satisfied with what she said. She made her decision and she chose to be happy with Chaewon until she can.
"When it comes to love, you should sacrifice sometimes. Being selfish would do you no good but regrets that will keep you awake every single night."
"How am I selfish in this situation, eomma?"
"You only think what's good for you. You could save yourself from pain. If you choose to leave one day, she'll be empty handed while you have kept everything in a special place already. You're keeping something from her already, would you keep the happiness she deserves before she face the pain you'll cause as well? Sacrifice all your time for her and for what's good for the two of you. Time is ticking, you wouldn't want to be late for all the best things you could do."
Her mother have said a lot of things to her last night as well as her father who heard that they're talking. There are a lot of things to consider in love but for Minju's case, time should be treasured well. Chaewon had tears in her eyes but it was rather for relief and happiness than the worries she had. She hugged Minju tightly not knowing what to say. She was over the moon right now and no words can explain the bliss in her heart. The concerns she had all this time were nothing as the feelings are mutual. They hugged not minding the silence, it was comfortable and they know it.
How lucky they felt that fate had favored them to feel this love for each other. They had nothing much to worry as they always stick together. Maybe Chaewon being there the time Minju was placed on her mother's arms is a destiny. They were destined that they have a lot of memories to share as best friends but now, opening a new chapter as lovers. "Unnie, I know that it may seem advance and too much to ask but, can you be with me until the last beat of my heart? Until I close my eyes for good, until my last breath, until I only hear your words as last when I lost my hearing. Until then, will you be my lover?" Minju asked in between their hug. She knows that this is the path that she chose. Chaewon pulled back and it's her turn to hold both of Minju's hands.
"Is that something you need to ask? Of course, I will! We'll always be together. No matter what comes up, I'll always be here and I know you'll be there. I trust you."
'Everything between us would be perfect, I know. I promise to make you the happiest because they didn't make such perfect love journey.'
