The sound of sea waves can be heard early in the morning with a little sunlight peaking from the clouds as it rises. Chaewon flattered her eyes open, a delicate view is greeting her. It's none other than Minju, it's the best view she could ever see. She felt warm in the morning as the latter's arms are wrapped around her petite body.
Her eyes wandered at the younger's features, she loves checking every single detail about her even though it's already imprinted in her mind. The beautiful eyes that stare at her lovingly and reflecting the younger's heart. The nose that's so perfect adding up the beautiful detail when Minju's side view is facing her. There's also her soft pink lips where her words of love come from. Where her favourite words come out, her "I love you." Even her features have changed as they grow up, she still see the pretty little Minju that she always play with. She smiled at her but it suddenly dropped as she remembered her dream last night.
Minju and Chaewon was having a walk by the Han River, they're having a date in the afternoon before the day they get busy on university again. They've been enjoying the day so far, nothing but laughter and some cheesy lines in between their conversation.
It was the last day of their one whole week date, who knows when will be their next date. Well, after school hangouts is considered a date for them as well, as long as they're together and they're having fun, it's a sweet time for them.
"Chaewon unnie." Minju called out as the older was busy taking a picture of the beautiful flowers she saw at the side while walking. She hummed at the younger, still not sparing a glance to her. She clicked the capture button on her phone then checked the picture she got, a satisfied smile showed up in her face after seeing the good quality of the image. She realized that the younger haven't replied to her after she hummed at her.
"Yes, Minju? You wanna say something?" This time, she faced her but was surprised that Minju was right in front of her making a small gap between. She slapped Minju's shoulder and they laughed. "Do you wanna take a picture with the flowers?"
Minju asked making the older of the two nod excitedly then Minju reached for her phone from her pocket. Capturing Chaewon with the flowers behind her, she smiled at her sweetly. "Chaewon unnie."
She called out once again, as she moved her head from the phone making her stare directly at Chaewon. "Yes, Min? You've been calling my name." Chaewon chuckled but was curious about what's really inside the younger's mind. It seemed to her that Minju wanted to say something but she won't say it.
"I love you." Chaewon stood up, going out from the frame at Minju's phone. She smiled at Minju and reached her hands on the younger's cheeks, pinching it. "I lost count how many times you have said that today but I won't get tired saying I love you too, Minju-yah."
After saying that Minju smiled at her but it was different, it seems like a sad one or apologetic. She can't tell but she know for the fact that it's not positive one. In just a blink, the setting of the dream changed. She was now under a tree, it's a familiar tree. It's the tree they stayed at by the corner of the park. For some unknown reason, the Chaewon in the dream was going through a misery. She unknowingly felt really sad and she don't know why she's crying at the dream. She just couldn't stop her tears from bawling out. She was hugging a familiar jacket. She hugged it tightly and cried which resulted to closing her eyes.
The second she opened her eyes once again, she's in front of the fountain they once wished at when they're still young. She doesn't have any idea what she's doing there but as she looked at the water, she saw another girl's reflection in front of her. She looked up to see who it was, it's Minju. She's beautiful like always, the white dress she's wearing complimented her beauty even more. She's like a fallen angel.
Seeing Minju should make her smile happily but again, she doesn't have control to the Chaewon in her dream. She felt her heart ache the second Minju smiled at her. She felt like crying once again. She can't seem to move her body the second she turned to her side to walk to Minju. Instead, Minju made her way to her but she still couldn't move. "I love you." The first words that came from her mouth. She hugged Chaewon and as much as the older wanted to hug back, she couldn't move. Tears continue running down her cheeks. "I love you, unnie. Forever."
She woke up in the middle of the night, she could feel the tears on her cheeks. She don't know why she had that kind of dreadful dream but the pain she felt while dreaming about that, flew away. She saw the sleeping Minju in front of her that made her smile. She once again fell asleep as she just stared at Minju.
Coming back to the present time, she pecked Minju's lips before she carefully tried removing Minju's arms that are wrapped around her waist. She successfully did that but as she was about to stand up, she was pulled back in bed by the sleepy Minju. Minju's eyes are still close but she's awake, just drowsy. "I will prepare our breakfast, Min." She said to the girl whose eyes are still shut but Minju whined.
"Let's stay like this for a while. Let's prepare breakfast together." Minju said but this time, she had her eyes slightly open to look at Chaewon and plead. "Okay then. I love this as well." She said snuggling closer to Minju.
The dream she had came to her mind. When she thought of that dream, there's one question she wanted to ask Minju. It's also something she was really curious about. "Minju-yah, I have a question."
Minju hummed at her, "What is it, unnie?" Still her eyes are shut close, her cheeks are in contact with Chaewon's head as she hug her. I'm really curious about this for a long time now. You aren't someone that likes to say how she feels, you always put your thoughts in action. You're always like that since young. But I'm curious about why you often say 'I love you' to me even the timing is odd. You just say it anytime you want. It's just weird that you're not that kind of person."
Her eyes suddenly shot open as she stared at the ceiling. Chaewon faced her. She glanced at her, "Why? Does it make you uncomfortable? You don't like it?" She teased at the older, pretending to be hurt. Chaewon lightly hit her as she laughed.
"Of course, I love it, you dummy. I just didn't expect that you're like this. You're not very loud about your emotions through words." Minju's mischievous smile faded and she faced the ceiling once again. There's only one reason why she say that, it's like a timer.
"I just suddenly fall in love with you again sometimes that I feel like confessing again and again. I'll love you, over and over again. I won't get tired and get shy saying that everytime."
"I know that you mean it but why are you explaining at the ceiling, I'm right here, Kim Minju." Chaewon held her chin making her face the older. They stared at each other's eyes for a good one minute when Minju leaned in and connected their lips. It was a slow but sweet kiss. Chaewon smiled in between the kiss before she pulled back. "And I'll keep loving you too."
"I love you, unnie." Minju's heart ached, 'How come I'm still lying to her for this long? When I'm the person she trusts the most.'
