IT HAD BEEN a year since Luca's breakdown, the time in his life when he was as his all time low. The most horrible year of his entire life-he lost everything and finally realized he'd lost himself years ago on his European tour. It was the year of realization and depression-but he was overcoming it.
Now he was trying to redeem himself-trying to heal himself. His plan to get rid of Brandy was always on his mind, but while he was gone Brandy and his vendetta were the last thing he thought about. He told Atticus to take him anywhere away from Hollywood, and with that they both packed their things and drove as far away from Luca's teenage and young adult hood.
Twitter was going crazy over his interview on Beverly's show. People starting to realize that Luca was lying and wasn't healthy or fine. Even though Amina tried to take the like light off him, users quickly called out Beverly for letting the show go one knowing what he was dealing with. She was also reviving hate for pushing questions that didn't matter in the interview.
He found it bitter how Beverly was getting canceled, but the real villain behind his breakdown was being praised for 'caring' for his artists and letting them take a mental health break. He was playing everyone, and no one suspected a thing because Brandy Manning was the perfect man, father, and manager who everyone respected and loved. He gave people all over social media a letter that Luca supposedly wrote saying how he was taking a break from social media and Hollywood like light for a while-Brandy of course subtweeting how he supported him every step of the way. Funny thing was everything about it was fake, and Brandy didn't even know where he was or why he kept, because if Luca came to him wanting to leave for a few months he'd lock him back in ha house or sigh his name to another tour.
He knew his sudden disappearance was all over social media, but it was something he needed to take. A break from Hollywood, his current problems, and Brandy. He ran away because he deserved a few weeks outside of his mansion. He needed to think and be able to get better-even if it was for a month. He needed a break in a place he wasn't forced to stay in.
He went to heal himself.
A month wasn't enough but it was enough to help him concentrate on letting go of his anger healthy. Atticus took him to his hometown in Montana, and with that Luca appreciated the change of scenery and very low popular action of his town. He was able to walk around without having to worry if someone was following him. Atticus took Luca to his grandmother who taught Luca meditation stances and ways to release everything he held in with meditation. All he a wanted now was a therapist.
He hadn't picked up a single whiskey bottle or any kind of liquor.
Luca's body went through withdrawal when he first left Hollywood. The first few days were hard, he yearned for the liquor to help him to forget-because everything was coming back to him. All his emotions, memories and hate was coming back like a tidal wave. He was feeling everything he drank to forget and ease. He'd though giving up drinking would be easier because it was something he wanted to do, but going through withdrawal was a hell he never thought he'd have to endure. He fought Atticus for the first week, his attitude and anger being something Luca found unrecognizable. But once the first week passed, and his body finished detoxing, it was so hard.
He was depressed and anger, and barely got any sleep the second week and half of the third. But once Luca started to meditate with Atticus's grandmother, and started to drink water and eat healthily, he felt everything becoming better. He looked better and he felt better.
His skin wasn't a sickly pale color and his eyes didn't have dark bags underneath them. His body wasn't slumped over and his shoulders weren't hunched back. He looked healthy. His hair was finally styled, his beard was freshly cut and his skin went to a healthy white color rather than the once pastey ghost tone. He stood y'all because for the first time he wanted to be seen and not hide. He gained a few pounds in his face and body, looking much more fit and active than before.
