"YOU WANT ME to apologize on the show live? The same show that's aimed to degrade and spread false rumors about us?"
Brandy rolled his eyes unamused. "Yes."
Brandy brought Luca straight to SMAC's ( social media and celebrity news) studio to do a live interview on TV about Luca's and his breakdown. Brandy wanted to normalize the situation as much as he could and get all the hate off of Luca so he could release his next single with a clear sky.
Luca shrugged his shoulders. It wasn't like he could say or do anything, they were already here and getting set up for the interview.
"You met Amina yesterday." Brandy stated as he adjusted his earpiece.
Luca hid his smile as he nodded politely to the man putting his microphone on his shirt.
"We talked," he said casually.
He was bothered with his small conversation with Amina, Luca knew that much. Brandy didn't want Luca meeting Amina yet, why? Was he afraid that Luca would break and warn her and the kid to stay as far away from Hollywood as possible? Tell her not to trust Bran or anyone he's associated with? He was worried about his newest moneymaker becoming useless when she learned she couldn't trust him.
Brandy did have something to worry about-he had Amina to worry about. Luca knew that she was the key to burning down Brandy and making Hollywood bleed-he didn't know how yet, but he was positive she was.
His encounter with her wasn't planned, nor did he truly even realize she was standing a few feet away from him until she met his gaze.
Amina Ryan was even more beautiful than how social media portrayed her to be. Her skin was clear and smooth, her hair in long braids that made Luca want to run his fingers through. Her body wasn't what he was used to seeing. It was refreshing to see someone real and not full of false expectations.
Her eyes held life and emotion-something he'd do anything to remain them staying that way
She dressed the way she wanted for now, and Luca prayed that Brandy didn't manipulate her to change herself as he did for everyone he owned.
"Hm," Brandy muttered back bitterly.
"What was the meeting for anyways?"
Brandy never told Luca about anyone or anything. He was very secretive about everything he was thinking, and the one person he trusted enough with his dirty business was Mavis. Luca before would try his hardest to gain Brandy's trust and attention, but now he wanted nothing more than to have Brandy's eyes off of him.
"Why does it matter?"
He knew by his tone what it was. His tone was defensive and bitter, meaning it was work and most definitely not life-related.
Luca scoffed, shaking his head. "You're changing everything about her."
That's all Brandy ever did to his 'stars', he changed everything that made them. He persuaded them to think that changing themselves was the best way to become bigger and better-than the way they were before would get them nowhere in Hollywood. If the public liked what they saw, Brandy did too.
