Nate's POV
I am walking through the hall on the Waverider and I see a teenage girl, "Who are you?" I ask, she whips around.
"My name is Laurel." She says.
"Like Captain's sister Laurel?" I ask her.
She nods, "Yup. Could you take me to her and Ava?" She asks me.
"No can do, but I can take you to the brig and bring them to you?" I ask her, she nods. "Okay follow me." I start to walk and she starts to follow me.
"Is the brig a prison?" She asks, I have a feeling she knows.
"Sort of, but if you want to talk to the Caps, you have to sorry." I tell her.
"That's okay." She says as we walk into the brig, I open the door and gesture her inside. "Yeah." She walks into the cell and I lock the door.
"Gideon, Call the Captains down here please." I ask the AI.
"Of course, Dr. Heywood." She replies, she needs to stop calling me Dr. Heywood.
Sara's POV
Me and Ava are making out and I am about to pull off her shirt but Gideon interrupts us, "Dr. Heywood is in need of both of your presences. We have visitor on the ship, in the brig." I sigh.
"Thanks Gideon." I say and get off Ava. I pull her up, "Do we have to go?" I ask her.
"Yes, we do my love." She says and kisses me. She pulls away before I can even kiss back. "Lets go." I whine but follow her anyways because she was dragging my hand. Right before we enter the brig I pull my hand away and go cold. I walk in and see a young girl, she looks like Ava a bit.
"Yes Nate?" I ask him.
"This is Laurel. She showed up on the ship and didn't fight and just walked with me." He explains.
"Laurel? My sisters name?" I ask him, he nods. "Hey kid." I say.
"Hi M-Sara." Laurel starts then cuts herself off. I look at her confused.
"Can you tell me what year you are from?" I ask her. Ava moves to stand behind me.
"2038, but can I tell you how I know you?" She asks, I nod. "So I'm from the future and my full name is Laurel Megan... Lance." She says.
"I'm sorry what?" I ask her.
"Laurel Megan Lance. And my parents are Sara Lance and Ava Sharpe." She explains. I look back at Ava to see her eyes widen. "And I think I really just messed up the timeline."
"Gideon, does this track?" Ava asks.
"Yes, Ms. Laurel is your offspring born. 2023, October 11th. Star City General." Gideon says.
"Holy." I say and look at Ava again. "Let her out." I say, Nate nods and lets her out. She slowly walks out. "Can you tell us why you are in this year?"
"So in the future we have another ship and that ship exploded but I was able to grab a currier and get out. I was the only one on it and it was exploded by an enemy." She explains, "Also my currier is dead." She says, I nod.
"Okay we can get you back to your time." I tell her and grab Ava's hand and walk out with her, Nate and Laurel following. "Gideon plot a course for..." I look at Laurel.
"September 19th 2038." She fills in.
"In the jumpship." I finish.
"Of course Captain." Gideon replies. We walk to the jumpship, "Course plotted." Gideon says, Me, Ava, and Laurel walk into the jump ship and sit down.
We arrive in 2038 and stand up, Laurel instantly hugs me. I look at Ava for help, she just shrugs. I hug her back, I can't believe I have a kid with Ava, we aren't even married yet. The wedding is in a week but still. "Are you okay?" I ask her and rub her back, she just starts crying.
"Y-Yeah, I-I'm so-sorry." She stutters out and pulls away. She goes over to Ava and hugs her as well. I smile softly at them, My future wife and future kid. Ava rubs her back, she sobs into Ava shoulder. She lets Ava go and we walk out. "See you guys in 2023." She says and hugs me tightly again.
"Bye Laurel." Ava says.
"Bye." I say.
"Bye mom, and mama." She says and walks away. We walk back into the jumpship, I see Ava crying. I pull her into a hug and gently sway as she buries her face in my neck. I sit down and put Ava in my lap facing me. I pull the safety bars down.
"I must advise that is-" I cut Gideon off.
"Just pilot Gideon." I tell her.
"Yes Captain." She starts the jumpship and flies us to the Waverider. I stand up and Ava wraps her legs and arms around me, I start to walk to our room. I am rubbing her back as I enter our room. I sit down on the edge of the bed and tap Ava's leg telling her to let go with her legs. She moves her legs and I lay down and hold her on top of me.
"It's okay." I sooth her.
Sorry for the sad ending and short chapter, I am feeling a smut mood so I'll write smut. Like SMUTTY Smut.
