Just because my period is tracked to come tomorrow, I thought it would be funny to see Sara taking care of Ava while sees on her period. Hope you enjoy!
Ava's POV
I woke up and groaned, I just got my period. I turn around to look at Sara, peacefully sleeping with her mouth slightly open. I slowly stand up not to wake her and I didn't bleed onto the sheets. I get up and go into the bathroom, I strip out of my clothes and throw my underwear out. I hop into the shower and let the hot water hit me.
I finish showering and get dressed and put a pad on. I walk back into the room and Sara is sitting up on the bed looking at me. "Hey." She says softly. I smile at her because she knows.
Sara's POV
I wake up and look at Ava's side of the bed, she isn't there. I hear the shower running, some how I know she got her period today. I sit up and watch the door because I know she isn't going to take long.
I hear the door open and look up from my hands on my lap. "Hey." I say softly. She smiles at me, I slowly get out of bed.
I walk up to her and hug her, she buries her head in my neck and I start to sway side to side. Ava has really bad mood swings and she loves to be held when on her period. I learned this within the first week of dating her. "You okay?" I ask her softly, making sure she doesn't have a reason to cry or be mad at me.
"Yeah, just really bad cramps." She mumbles into my neck, I get an idea. I gently pick her up and wraps her legs around my waist and her arms around my neck. I set her down on the bed gently and pull the covers over her.
"Wait here, I'll be back okay?" I ask her, she nods. I smile softly at her and kiss her forehead leaving our room. I literally run to get my keys in my office, I grab my wallet, put on my shoes and jacket and hop on my motorcycle we keep in the cargo bay.
I quickly drive to the store, I run in. I grab heating pads, her favorite snacks, her favorite drinks, and I will give her my hoodie with a lot of perfume on it. I pay and drive back to the ship, "Gideon open the cargo bay ramp." I say into my coms. The door opens I slowly park my bike and turn it off. I get the bags and run to my room. I wasn't gone more than 10 minutes.
I open our room door and look at her. She hasn't move and she is hugging her stomach, "Hey, I'm back." I whisper softly and stroke her hair. She looks up at me, I smile at her. I kiss her forehead. "I got you, your favorite snacks, drinks, and some heating pads." I whisper and she gives me a weak smile.
"Thank you." Ava whispers weakly still hugging her stomach.
"What do you want first?" I ask her, I hand her the bag and she gets her favorite chips out of it. "Oh, I forgot something." I say and stand up, I go over to my closet and grab her favorite hoodie to steal. I grab my perfume and spray it with it, I walk back over to her. "Here baby." I say softly and hand her it, she smiles widely and takes off her shirt and puts it on.
My scent always calms her, "Thank you." She says, I smile and get her a heating pad.
"Life up the hoodie." I whisper to her, she lifts it up and I put the heating pad on her lower stomach and turn it on. I lower the hoodie back and pull the blanket back up. "Do you want some real food?" I ask her. She nods, "Okay." I whisper and kiss her head. I take off my jacket and put it in the closet. I walk to the kitchen, in the kitchen there is Nate and Spooner.
"What up." I say and walk in. They look scared, "Do they have their periods too?" I ask them, they nod, I chuckle and shake my head. "Gideon, Ava's favorite please." I say.
"Of course Captain." Gideon says and makes the food.
"Just cuddle them, give them a hoodie with a lot of your perfume or cologne, and their favorite snacks and drinks. I just drove to the store for Ava, at 6:30 in the morning." I tell them.
"Thank you Cap." They say and walk out to go to the store.
"Thanks Gideon." I say as I get Ava's food, on the way to our room I stop my the med bay to get ibuprofen.
I walk into my room and Ava is crying, I quickly set down her food and run to her. "Hey, Hey, what's wrong?" I ask her as I stroke her hair, she just clings to me and buries her head in my stomach because I'm sitting on the edge of the bed. "I got you, your food baby." I say and smile.
She lets go of me and I hand her, her food. She starts to eat, I smile and get changed for the day. I lay back on my side of the bed and go on my phone while she eats. "Sara." Ava says as a whisper. I instantly turn off my phone and look her.
"Yes, my love?" I ask her.
"Can we watch TV and cuddles?" She asks.
"Of course, whatever you want, baby." I say softly, I smile at her and pull her hood up, that gets her to smile. She finishes eating and I take it to the kitchen and put it in the sink. I walk back into our room and I take off my shoes and lay back down. "Come on babe." I say and she crawls into my arms, her head on my chest and our legs intertwined.
"Can we watch, Grey's Anatomy?" She asks.
"Whatever you want." I say and kiss the top of her head. She cuddles into me more and we start to watch Grey's Anatomy.
Within 2 episodes Ava is passed out on me, I hear a knock at the door, "Gideon open the door." I whisper not to wake Ava. The door opens and there stands Spooner and Nate. "Hey guys." I say still whispering, Ava stirs a little, I rub her back and she instantly goes back to sleep.
"Um, Zari and Astra are yelling at us for no reason." Nate says whispering as well looking afraid.
"Give them food and a heating pad." I tell them, they thank me silently and leave with the door closing behind them. I turned off the TV and went on my phone, I took a picture of Ava and set it as my lock screen because she looks so cute.
After about an hour, while playing on my phone, Ava stirs. "Hey Ava." I whisper, she looks up at me and starts to cry, "Hey, hey, what's wrong my love?" I ask her.
"You called me my full name." She cries out.
"Oh, baby, I'm sorry." I say and tighten my grip around her back. I whisper sweet-nothings into her ear until the tears turn into hiccups and sniffles. "You okay, baby?" I ask her softly. She nods her head and puts it in the crook of my neck. I put the show back on and we binged watched it until 10 PM. She fell asleep on top of me with her head in my head.
