Progress. So it has been a few weeks now and Trenton has continued with coming to our tutoring sessions. It has truly been amazing because you can literally see the change. He works harder and is more motivated then before. He has someone to believe in him and push him to do what I know he is very capable of. Of course, you cannot expect everything to fix completely in only a few weeks. This being said, yes, he has stuck with his player ways. I swear I have seen him with at least twelve girls just a few weeks. It is absolutely insane! Oh, also, he still avoids being seen at school together which really does not bother me. Hey, you cannot have your cake and eat it too.
Waking up, I stretched my arms and sat up before rubbing my eyes gently. Getting up, I went to the bathroom and showered quickly. After I was done showering, I washed my face and brushed my teeth. Then, since I really don't like to wear very much makeup, I put on foundation, winged eyeliner, mascara, and soft pink lipstick. Then going over to my closet, I picked out an Aztec print tank top, a pair of blue, skinny jeans with splattered white paint droplets, and my black and white varsity jacket.
Going back into the bathroom, I brushed out my hair and blow-dried it quickly. When it was dry, I plugged in my curling iron and turned it on. Waiting for it to heat up, I went into my bedroom and picked out my gondola wedge, black and white sneakers. After I put them on, I returned to my curling iron and curled my brown hair into perfect ringlets. When all of my hair was curled, I put a light amount of hairspray in just to hold them in and finished it off with a white bow on the back of my head. Since I had a few extra minutes, I quickly painted my nails with a black mustache on each finger. Once they were dry, I painted on the topcoat. When the topcoat had dried, I got up, grabbed my studded, black backpack, and headed downstairs.
"Morning, Hunt," I greeted him cheerfully. "Morning, Bella. What's got you so cheery this morning?" he asked looking up from his newspaper. Rolling my eyes at the sight of him reading a newspaper like an old man, I shrugged and grabbed a protein bar. "I'm not really sure. I guess I just have a feeling that today is going to be a good day." He just nodded and returned to reading the paper.
DING DONG. I looked at Hunter confused, but he just continued on with reading his newspaper. Getting up, I walked to the front door wondering who it could possibly be. When I opened it, though, standing in front of me is probably the last person I would have guessed.
"Morning, Tinker Bell. I thought you could use a ride to school," Trenton said. To say I was stunned to see him on my front porch, in the morning, and offering me a ride to school would be an understatement. When I came back down to earth, I tried to subtly look him over. He was wearing a white tee shirt, a black leather jacket, blue jeans, and black, combat boots. Looking back up to his face, I saw that he had been looking me over as well. Rolling my eyes, I leaned up against the doorframe and crossed my arms.
"Why are you really here, Trenton?" I asked impatiently. "You know, Tinker Bell, most people call me Trent." "Well, I'm not most people now am I?" He shook his head and gave me a real smile instead of his normal smirk. "No, you're definitely not." I felt my cheeks warm up some, as I could just imagine the pink tint they probably were. Looking down, I attempted to hide my blush.
"Anyways, you look like you could use a ride for school seeing as it looks like I'm your only option." "No you're not. Hunter could take-" I stopped mid sentence and looked for Hunter's car, only to see it was no longer there. "Great. Looks like you are my only option." "After you, Tinker Bell," he said stepping aside for me. I walked out, unlocked the door, and turned to him.
"I'm only doing this for lack of options. Also, what's up with calling me 'Tinker Bell'?" He shrugged as we walked towards his car. "Your name is Annabella and you remind me of Tinker Bell." He opened the door for me and I turned to him before I got in. "How so?" I asked getting in. He closed my door for me and ran around to the other side, getting in the driver's seat.
