"Are you okay?" Miley whispered in your ear as she squeezed your hand under the table, her eyes on you despite all of the eyes on her in the room.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little nervous." You chuckled nervously but felt a little comfort when she put her hand on your thigh and squeezed it reassuringly.

"Don't be nervous. I'm right here." She smiled as she brushed a lock of hair behind your ear and then kissed your cheek lovingly.

You're not used to this. Not in the slightest.

All of these eyes are on you as everyone around waits to go live for the interview you and Miley are doing together today.

It's your first one and you're a little nervous about it.

But you know it's something you'll have to get used to because now your relationship with Miley is more public than ever.

And you feel comforted through whatever comes your way, because Miley is always there by your side.

"Miley! Y/N!" The interviewer yelled excitedly as the interview went live on the radio for the world to hear. "It's so good to see you! You looked awfully cozy and cute before it started." He chuckled.

"Yeah," Miley giggled as she squeezed your hand comfortingly. "What can I say? I'm happy and I want to show my girl off."

You grinned from ear to ear before the interviewer looked at you.

"Y/N, I'm honored to meet you. I know this is your first interview and your relationship with Miley is so public. How have you been doing?"

"I'm good." You said, a little shy, making Miley giggle. "It's a lot to get used to, but I'm happier than I've ever been."

"Miley, I know you just got divorced really recently. I just wanted to ask, how different is y/n from your ex? You seem so happy, which everyone loves to see. But what truly stands out about y/n compared to him?"

Miley was a little taken aback by the question.

Honestly, you didn't know if she'd answer.

But you hoped she would because you were quite curious about her response to it.

"Oh, gosh. A lot, actually. A huge difference is how supportive she is of me. She likes to do a little PDA, which I will admit I'm not too keen on to an extent. But I like showing the world that she's mine and I'm crazy for her and she never complains about it."

You couldn't help but smile, staring at her as if she's the only person in the room.

She had all of your attention

"I'm just happy, really happy. I can't remember the last time I felt this happy. It's a nice feeling and I can only imagine what our future will be like. I think it's filled with lots of love and happiness."

She gazed at you, grinning from ear to ear when she saw that you were already staring at her.

"It hasn't been too long since I got divorced, just a few months. And I haven't been with y/n for that long, just a couple of months. But I feel like I'm where I'm meant to be now and I've found someone I truly adore. She's different from everyone I've ever been with, she makes me feel something I've never felt before. I'm just crazy for her." Miley said, every word falling from her lips as your eyes stayed locked.

Everyone in the room were smiling and feeling flutters in their hearts as they saw the love between you two.

Miley has been there a couple of times before. But not like this. Not this genuinely happy, carefree, and, judging by the look in her eyes, in love.

Maybe it's too soon to some, but it's there.

And it's easy to see that you feel the same.

The difference between you and everyone she's been with before was obvious - you let her be the real Miley.

You encourage her to be her quirky self. To be the real her, to shine bright like the star she truly is, and to let go of all her worries. To live out her dreams the way she wants.

And if there was an award for the most supportive girlfriend, you'd win it. Everyone in the room would agree on that.
