So entranced in the book on your lap, you didn't even hear the door close nor Miley calling out your name. You were too mesmerized by the words written on the pages to notice anything around you.

Miley couldn't help but chuckle as she sat beside you. She thought it was cute how into the story you seemed to be. You had your teeth sank into your lip, eyes traveling quickly over the written words as you hung onto each one more than the last.

"Enjoying your book there, babe?" She giggled, reaching out to brush a lock of hair behind your ear. You didn't seem to notice her, simply continuing to read the book in your lap. "Asked and answered." Miley teased. "Do you even know that I'm here right now?" She laughed and brushed her fingers across your cheek.

You lifted your head, taken by surprise by her sudden touch.

"Oh! Miley, you scared me. I didn't know you were here."

"I know." She teased, poking your ribs playfully. "You're so into your story that you haven't heard a word I've said."

"Sorry." You mumbled, smiling a little when she caressed your cheek.

"It's okay. You're cute."

Your cheeks turned red and you stared down at your book again before looking back up at her once your cheeks stopped flushing.

"My book arrived today. I've already read most of it!"

"Yeah?" She grinned. "Do you maybe wanna do something together then now that I'm home and you've read most of it?"

"I wanna finish this first." You spoke, staring back at the pages.

"Or," Miley said as she scooted closer to you. Gently, she pried your fingers off of the book. You looked at her with furrowed brows, watching as she bookmarked the page so you wouldn't lose your place when you continued reading on later. "You can save that for something to do later tonight or tomorrow and we can do something together?"

"Like what?" You asked, curious about what she had in mind.

She moved to kiss your neck softly. She didn't have any intentions behind it, simply giving you a little love like you deserve.

"Whatever you want to, baby." She said, teeth gently sinking into your skin before pulling back. "How about a movie night?"

"I'd love that."

She nodded and pulled away, only to pull you onto her lap straight after. You giggled and let your head fall back onto her shoulder as she turned on your favorite film to watch together, sneaking little kisses to your neck and occasionally stealing some from your lips as your evening together began.
