you're cold

You walked hand in hand with Miley along the beach. It's late at night and the only light is from the moon.

You couldn't stop staring at your girlfriend. She always looks gorgeous, but seeing her just in the moonlight with the sound of the waves crashing on the sand made you fall even more in love with her.

You put your head on her shoulder as you walked. Miley let your hand go to wrap her arm around your waist. "Love you so much." She murmured and looked out at the ocean as you continued to walk.

It wasn't cold, but there was a slight breeze and since you were only in a tank top, thinking you wouldn't need anything more, you were a little cool.

You shivered slightly and Miley frowned. "You're cold?" She asked, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "Not really. Just a little chilly from the breeze." She nodded and shrugged off the light hoodie she had on.

She placed it over your shoulders and looked down at you with a smile as you rested your head on her shoulder. "Better?" She grabbed your hand and ran her thumb across your knuckles. Your cheeks were red from the blush that covered them. You were smiling so wide it hurt a little.

"Yeah. Much better." You kissed her cheek and watched as a smile broke out on her face.

You stopped walking and stood in front of the water. You took off your shoes to let the waves crash over your feet and you smiled when Miley wrapped her arms around you from behind you.

You felt much warmer and wrapped up in your girlfriend's embrace while you stared out at the water, made you feel safe and loved.
