"Zhongli! What are you doing to Nezuko! Let go of her!" Tanjiro out of instinct tackled Zhongli who was restraining Nezuko still, even if she was able to control herself even a little, a demons hunger is quite hard to pass off.

"Tanjiro stop!" Kie yelled, Nezuko jumped from her bed and ran towards Kie, she hesitated but as she was almost about to slash Kie's face Zhongli used his spear to stop it. He then. Shoved Nezuko onto the floor and head-locked her, she began to thrash around growling and still trying to resist her hunger.

"Tanjiro...You must understand.." Kie mumbled quietly.

Tanjiro wasn't going to accept it, his sister, a demon? Nothing attacked the house, there was no blood, there was nothing.

As if Zhongli read Tanjiros mind, he replied, "That is simply because of the snow storm that was present during the night, a particular demon came for a visit." Tanjiro blinked, then realization came to him.

"I-It can't be...she was a human yesterday though!" He shouted, Zhongli closed his eyes and furrowed his brows.

"Tanjiro, you must accept this, we can't do anything about it." Zhongli spoke coldly, Tanjiro flinched and looked down.

"I'll turn her back into a human...I swear.." he mumbled.

After some time, there was a presence nearby, Zhongli stood up, "Tanjiro watch over your sister while I go outside for a moment.." Tanjiro nodded quickly and sad next to his sleeping sister.

Zhongli walked out of the small house, then feeling an impact of wind.

"What brings you here?" Questioned Zhongli, his eyes closed. The blue-eyed man narrowed his eyes slightly, "you have a demon here, and I'm here to slay it." Zhongli sighed, he of course knew this was coming.

"Why yes, we do have a demon in the household, this demon actually controlled her hungry and fought back, not wanting to succumb to the darkness." Zhongli stated, The blue-eyed man didn't believe it, not one bit.

"All demons are blood thirsty, and eat humans without hesitation, and here I am hearing such words." He narrowed his eyes and glared at Zhongli, "I only state the facts, but yes Demons are man-eating merciless creatures. But this fact is that this demon will Not be eating any humans."

"If you plan on slaying her, I won't let you, I am bound by contract and emotion." Zhongli opened his eyes and gave a glare to the blue eyed man, "If you wish to fight then go ahead." He summoned his polearm from golden dust, having the blue-eyed man widen his eyes.

'Is he a fool? Protecting a demon and claiming it hasn't killed or eaten anyone? Absurd..' he thought, he unsheathed his sword, he knew not to underestimate Zhongli.

"Let us take this fight somewhere else, wouldn't want anyone be in the crossfire of our battle."
