It was Stacey, who's calling.
"Vhea, may importante akong sasabihin, so put your focus in this call."
"Ano?"
"Dad was arrested. Someone reported, that the core products he was using was not appropriate at hindi nakakasunod sa pamantayan ng kalidad ng produktong ibinibenta ng kompanya natin. May mga nagreklamo, and so he was arrested."
"Vhea, you still there? May pupunta riyan sa hospital. That person would offer you something and you have to agree with it. That person would explain youu everything."
"H-ha?"
"I need to end this call right now, marami pa akong kailangang e-settle rito. Don't worry, everything will be fine in the meantime. Don't pressure yourself too much," she said, before the call was ended.
Dad maybe is hard to me, hindi ko pa rin maiwasang mangamba.
My mind was about to wander further when suddenly, bigla kong nakita ang isang lalaking papalapit nang papalapit sa gawi ko.
"Why are you here?"
"It's been a while, Vhea," he replied. "Let's have a cup of coffee. We need to discuss something really vital."
"I know.
He keeps on glancing around the room that really makes me see him as being uncomfortable with the place, or something else. . .
