the crowd cheered loudly at the two announcements that had just been made.
after decades of rivalry and hate, the two realms had finally been united peacefully.
this union had happened with the wedding of the two heirs who had become, at the same time, the new kings of the unique realm.
demons and humans were now bonded to live peacefully, without jealousy.
they were bonded to share their customs and recreate new ones.
they were bonded to become one large people.
doyoung and jaehyun together ruled the realm like never did before.
of course, they allowed the union of a human with a demon, which both sicheng and yuta appreciated very much – to the point they were able to get married a day after the law passed.
they decided to encourage diversity, claiming that any child born of a family with a demon and a human parent will be called neither a demon nor a human, but an angel, symbol of peace and purity.
the two original realms didn't disappear though.
they appeared next to each other, like parallel universes.
to get from one realm to the other, people would need to cross this invisible separation, where the sky was purple, a mix of the blue and red skies of the realms, and where the atmosphere was neither too hot nor too cold.
doyoung and jaehyun decided to build their castle on this exact separation, to show the rupture with the past realms.
both royal families stayed in their own castles, on each side of the invisible separation, but will the possibility to cross it without any problem.
in the end, everyone was happy.
this union had finally solved every problem.
the demons had managed fulfilling their initial mission.
the humans had discovered new ways of living.
taeyong was happy with ten, far from his horrible family.
yuta and sicheng were married, and ready to pass to the next step.
jaehyun and doyoung were too.
speaking of which, jaehyun had finally found his happiness.
and doyoung?
