once doyoung heard sicheng bidding him goodbye, the human heir checked his reflexion one last time in the mirror to make sure his hair was looking good.

he wanted to be handsome for jaehyun, which was surely something stupid since the other didn't see him as anything else than a prisoner surely.

anyway, after checking his reflexion, doyoung looked at his watch, congratulating himself from making his best friend leave before yuta would appear through the portal.

however, the human didn't expect to see both sicheng and yuta having a glaring contest inside his bedroom when he opened the bathroom's door.

"huh..." he let out, his hand still on the door handle.

this caught the attention of the two persons inside the bedroom.

"doyoung, huh... hi?" yuta waved at him with a sheepish smile.

"mind explaining who this handsome man is?" sicheng asked, his finger pointing at yuta accusingly.

doyoung gulped, his eyes diverting from yuta to his best friend every second.

and as if their situation wasn't problematic enough, it became even worse.

"yuta, what's taking you..." jaehyun spoke, walking though the portal and freezing once he realised there was someone unknown in the room with them. "...so long...?"

sicheng looked at the new person that had entered the room and turned around quickly to stare at his best friend.

"mind explaining who THESE handsome men ARE?" he asked again.

doyoung stayed silent for a second, his eyes looking right into jaehyun's, and feeling his cheeks getting red as well as his heartbeat getting faster.

he had missed him so much... and now, his feelings were getting overboard inside of his body. he felt like exploding at the simple sight of the demon heir, looking so hot, inside his bedroom.

"doyoung?" sicheng asked with a cough.

"please, don't get mad..." doyoung said quickly to his best friend.

"i'm not mad yet. just curious." sicheng replied. "who are they?"

"this is yuta, and this is jaehyun." doyoung introduced them to his best friend. "they are friends."

"oh." sicheng nodded. "then, can i know how you managed to make yourself two muscular friends who seem to not be sensitive to the cold weather we have there, and who come right from a portal bringing to a very red world?!"

"yeah... huh..." doyoung gulped.

"we're demons." yuta spoke, catching the attention of the two humans.

sicheng raised a brow before turning back towards his best friend.

"doyoung, what do you have to say?" he asked.

"it's... complicated?" he answered.

sicheng faced the two demons again.

"will you excuse us for a second?" he asked before gripping doyoung's hand and pulling themselves inside the bathroom and locking the door behind them.

doyoung closed his eyes immediately, expecting to be lashed and screamed at.

however, he didn't expect for his best friend to place his hands on his shoulders and shake him to death.
