It's quiet.
Peaceful. The land around them is soft, yet still standing strong.
Off shaded cream coloured floor, laced with small indents of animal shaped holes and other holes that looked like a cheese gave. The ground could be easily mistaken for a sponge cake, or a cake that had hardened and become a stone... Maybe this is where rotting cakes laid to rest?
No...It was clear from the black points of feet and gentle curious hushes of deranged voices that told him otherwise.
So were was he?
And why did it feel like he shouldn't look up?The edges of his view was surrounded in purple smoke, so thick that it took them a moment to realise that he was staring down into a endless void of black.
Peaceful black of the night, wait night?
There was no prescription of time here, all he knew that it was peaceful and full of others as strange as themselve.
He was at peace in this strange land.
It felt like home.☹︎
That was until the hushes of the peaceful voices disappeared and grew into a muddle of an endlessly loud whisper. An inaudible voice of messages yelled at Ranboo, causing him to turn around and look upwards at what was yelling at him to jump.Around him where taller figures, faces as black as the voids below, yet their eyes glowed from the lilac fog an even deeper purple then what it's original colour was.
They screamed at him, mouths melting into eachother as purple tongues lolled outwards and hissed at him.
Even for Ranboos own height, these monsters towered over and could easily disarm him with no fail of their slender bodies. The Hyrbid took a step back.
And then another step.
Followed by one more.
The edge of the ledge was coming near.
One other step backwards.
He was going to fall, fall into the black void of uncertainty."Wake up, Wake up My Beloved, I need you"

Ranboo awoke, head lent forwards as sweat dripped off his brows and onto the white sheets of the bed.
He panted, clutching at his chest whilst heaving up gasps of air.
His hand was off colour, appearing more pinkish then the usual plain white he normally viewed. He checked the other, both a matching colour."Just dreaming" they sighed, pinching himself as they shook off the odd feeling of his body.
The boy cradled their legs, pulling the sheet off himself completely. Maybe it was just his hands that seemed off, as his toes where the same as they always had been. Just to make sure, he wiggled their toes, noting how the bean shapes all moved on his own command.
"Yeah, just dreaming" He nodded to themselve.
Next to the harsh bed of a thin and a to small of a mattress, was a white hollow box; maybe a home to a couple of spiders or just basic air, yet resting ontop was a single electronic lamp.
The facility may hate hybrids, but they aren't dumb enough to leave those scared in complete darkness with no way out.A finger snaked itself to the switch, allowing the hum of orange light to grow and seal away the darkness for the time being.
The room matched every other hybrid held room in the building, all besides the danger containment ones, a rectangular shape with a bed pushed against the shorter wall opposite the air lock door. Next to the door was a rectangle, holding the clothes and other accessories people had: some had the minimal of basic system clothes and others had small accessories like gloves or fans that were either given to them or they had found from forgotten visitors. It was the system policy that anything lost or left was now the hybrids who found it.
A small box rests next to the bed, where as a doorless arch stays on the centre of the right wall. Inside the darkness was a toilet area and a mirror over the sink: which ranboo had smashed long ago, yet there was a full body one attached to the wall that was unbreakable no matter how many times he wished to hide himself from it.
