Hybrid Of The End

~Act Two: Chapter Five~

"Tom?" Niki whispered under her breath, causing Tommy to turn and look at the women with a puzzled look.

"How'd you know my name?" Niki gave no reply besides gaping at him, her hands clenched to the side and she bowed her head to her side.

"Where have you guys been!?" Ranboo hugged them both, "can I take them upstairs?"

Niki nodded her head, turning back to the side with the same expression as before, whislt Ranboo rushed the two people through the tables and into the staff only area.

"I can't believe you guys are alive!" Ranboo smiled, pulling them towards the stair case on the side - moving towards the small room that he had awoken up in.

"Woah woah!" Tommy snorted and freed himself from Ranboos grasp and placed down Michael onto the grey carpet. "First off, what the hell happened to you?!" Tommy pointed at Ranboo's face. "You're... Not you?"

"Oh uh, I'm not sure" He chuckled and sat down on the bed, looking at his hands as he kept flipping them back over and over.

"I couldn't say anything downstairs, but what the fuck?" Tommy poked at his head. "How do you just magically turn into a non-freak-feast?"

"I don't know?" Ranboo looked at Michael, who was also staring at him, before looking at Tommy again. "The last thing I remember is being caught by these strange guys and then thrown into the lake... Then waking up here like this"

"Wait, did Niki take you back here?"

Ranboo nodded.

"Do you think she could have done something to make you like... That?" He gestured towards the whole of Ranboo. Michael copied Tommy, causing Ranboo to chuckle slightly at the child that was now trying to climb on the bed.

"I doupt it," Ranboo shrugged, looking up at his friend that was pacing too and frow, "she didn't mention anything about it, and she didn't treat me weirdly or even any differently"

"She's still weird; She knew my name, Boo"

"Oh!" Ranboo snapped his fingers, drawing the twos attention, "That's because she use to have friends that looked like you when they where younger, I'm guessing that's why; it must have just startled her so much"

"I'm guessing they were called Tom?" Ranboo nodded his head. "Weird coincidence" All three nodded their heads at that - Michael not really understanding but wanting to be involved anyway. "But he was taller, this nice old lady promised me she'll show me photos when she can; maybe you could come and check them out with me"

Tommy nodded his head, sitting next to ranboo and causing Michael to be squished between them. "Yeah, that'd be fair"

"Anywho, what's this stuff for?" Ranboo flicked Tommy hat, causing Michael to copy him and knock the hat off completely.

"Ack!" He quickly grabbed the hat, shoving it over his head once more and hiding his red feathers again. "For your information, I don't randomly become human - I still have these things" he grabbed a small, bright red, feather that had fallen into the bed - making sure to shove it in Ranboo's face before tickling Michaels neck with it.

"Wah-" The two boys snapped their heads to the door, where Niki stood in awe at them.

"Niki!" Ranboo stood up, "we can explain"

"You-" she flicked her finger between them both, only for Michael to stumble of the bed and undid Tommy's mostly failed attempts to hide his hybrid qualities.

"All of you?-" She stepped back slightly, looking between them all before looking at Ranboo.

"Get out"
