Ranboo stood, staring himself down in a small mirror that was nailed up above a desk in the room he rested in.
Ranboo watched as his body turned with a strange flesh barrier that he hadn't had before, watching as his bones appeared as he turned his body as fair right he could manage - which wasn't alot compared to his usual flexible amount. He wished to cry, yet refused to let them fall incase of the normal burning pain.
Ranboo sighed, pulling the crumpled shirt down to his waist once more.
He paused as he recalled what had happened that turned into something so strange and so usual."Tommy..."
He fell down, legs shaking and hands jittering, the harshness of the landing no doubt echoing as he wailed. No pain followed his cries, causing him to push the salty liquid more; freeing himself of the burden he has kept inside for years on end.
He cried, cried and cried. He never noticed when Niki had came into the room and wrapped her arms around him, nor when she had started to sway to clam him. He hardly even noticed when he had stop staring at the small circle in the wooden floor or even when he stopped.
He cried, cried and cried.
Twisting the gentle ring on his finger as he came down from his emotional high, he refused to look anywhere else, even as Niki tried her hardest to communicate with him.
He cried.

The bakery was a joyous place; with thin bunting stretched out over the white window frames, and matching table clothes over white wood. Small pale pink and blue vases sat with orchids in the middle of each of the checkered table cloths, with aesthetic menus and cutlery holders either side of the ever colour changing flower.
Fairy lights outstretched over the fake vines on the walls that framed different shapes of photos of cotton clouds and video game characters that matched the pastel theme."Niki?" Ranboo placed a hand to the wall, looking over towards where Niki was placing down some silver placemats on one of the longer tables.
"Oh hello again, you okay?" Ranboo nodded, walking over towards her as he grabbed at his thumbs.
"I have a question," She faced the stuffy eyed boy. "Would it be okay to work here with you?" She puzzled at Ranboo, yet before she could answer he spoke once more; "I don't mean to intrude, but I don't really know alot nor have alot... And I thought if I could work here for a bit and get some money-"
"You don't need to explain anything, I'll be happy to take you aboard, it gets lonely by myself anyway" She chuckled and finished placing down the mats. "We open up in two hours, so until then how about I show you what I do?"
Ranboo nodded, moving away slightly so she could lead him towards a matching desk in the far back of the cafe - directly facing the door. It held a cashier's machine that was a matching colour to the placemats and a smaller bunch of vines and fairy lights over the oak wood slab.
"I don't think you'll be using this for now, but let me at least show you what to do"And so she did, she pressed each button and told him what it's function did; she spoke each word twice so he'd remember and even made him his own little pin for the mechanism and a rhyme to remember it all.
They chuckled loudly as the tills mouth opened and almost smashed into Ranboo's side when he pressed the button. She taught him of the scanner for objects tags and even what to do when it's been noted down on the iPad - hell she even tried to teach the boy parts of the math needed to work out the total for food.
