the impossible has happened. (person a) has been somehow revived after dying to [insert random cause here].

as soon as they come to, they go to (person b). (person b) is surprised to find that (person a) is alive.. er, alive again, in this case. unfortunately though, (person b) runs off to tell the others before (person a) can talk to them.
