Eric's POV
The first day working with Charles went well. He catches on quickly. My dad has gotten comfortable with him.
"Here's your coffee, Eric." Charles hands me a cup. I sip it, closing my eyes because it tastes so good.
"Okay, so here's the outline for the upcoming week." I hand Charles and my dad a stack of papers
My cell rings. It's Trent.
"Hello. Hey brother. What do you need? Okay, I'm on my way! I'll be back. Dad come on. Charles, bring your ass too."
"What's going on son?" My dad asks.
"Trent wants to propose to Makayla tonight and he asked if I'd help him."
"Great! Both of my sons are sprung with love!"
I look at dad and shake my head. "Y'all are just like me. Putting a ring on it and claiming it early!"
"We had to get it from somebody."
"Yeah, and ya moms was down the whole time."
"Dad!"
"Not funny, be doing that! I got hoes in all codes!" Bro, what is up with this man?
We get to the place Trent's holding a proposal dinner at.
"Hey brother!!!!" we yell, running to each other then hugging.
We all start helping set everything up. Madison and the kids show up shortly after we finish setting up.
I see Amar and Hope giggling at me. Then Eric, Sai, and Kai are asleep. Marcus is clinging on to Madison's dad with a smile because of something that her dad is telling him.
Suddenly the lights go out. "Makayla can you come up here?" Trent asks in a tuxedo.
Everyone watches as Makayla goes to my brother. A chair is places behind her. Trent starts his speech.
"Makayla. You are the best thing to ever happen to me. My nephews love you, my sister-in-law loves you, and I love you. My question is....."
YES!!!!" Makayla screams hugging and kissing Trent.
"Get a room!" Dad yells.
Everyone's clapping and cheering, including me. Jr and Kayden run to them. Maddie and I follow.
"Congrats bro." I say." Trent hugs me then Maddie. My parents come up to them to welcome Makayla to the family.
We're all having a fun time, eating and talking. Kayden and Jr are asleep in Madison's mom arms.
