Charlie's POV
Bennett's parents allowed him to stay the whole weekend. We're on our way to drop him off now.
"Hey Charlie, maybe you can stay at my house this weekend."
"Yeah!"
"I'll see you at school tomorrow Charlie! Bye everyone!!" My sister and brothers wave at him.
"I'm glad you had fun Charlie. And yes you can stay with Bennett this weekend."
"No want Charlie to go!" I hear. Eric's smiling at me.
"It's okay Eric. He'll be back." I don't know how mom knows who spoke, they all sound the same to me. Except Hope.
Madison's POV
Eric and I danced until our feet hurt. It was a nice ball. He was looking good. I was looking good.
We each got compliments from other couples. When we got home though, the both of us stripped and laid in bed.
"Thanks for taking me out." I told him.
"I had fun. With you shaking your ass on me." I laughed.
"Hush. I wonder if Charlie's having fun."
"He is. I checked on him." I rolled in to of him and kissed his lips.
"Go to sleep before I put you to sleep, and I know you aren't capable of standing right now."
"Night hubby!" I fell asleep on his chest. Now Charlie's home. He's playing with the kids.
When the kids tackled him, Eric and I laughed.

Present time
I'm at work talking to new patients. Makayla is helping me by checking vitals.
I'm really glad that Charlie had fun. I want him hang out with Bennett as much as he wants. At Bennett's house or ours.
"Mom?" Charlie calls me from school. "Can I stay at Bennett's for the week. His mom says that her and her husband are going away and Bennett needs company."
"How do you know all that?" I ask skeptical.
"She's right her in the office with us both. She's going to talk to you."
"Hello?" Bennett's mom says.
"Hi."
"Yes. Everything that Charlie had told you I'd true. I was hoping if it'd be okay for Charlie to stay with him. We have the fridge packed with microwavables and juice."
"Yes ma'am. Can I speak to Charlie?" I hear Charlie's voice.
"Is this something you want to do Charlie?'
"Yes Mommy."
"Okay. See you later."
"Hey, mom."
"Yes, Charlie?"
"I love you." My heart leaps with joy.
"I love you too, Charlie. I'll see you at home."
I hang up, smiling. Charlie had made a real friend and they're going to hang out. I text the hubby the details.
He says okay.
