Mikan Tsumiki is dead.
Mrs Aoi tried her best not to cry.
"Atmosphere full of despair isn't it?" A voice interrupted my thoughts.
"Oh Nagito. Yes I can tell..."
"Ah it's just a girl chill, people die everyday due to D.I.C.E so don't worry!" Both me and Nagito saw the boy I met in the bus. Ugh memories I wish I could forget lol. "Y'all are shy or don't want to talk? Because I can go to keeboy too~"
'Kay go ahead we don't give a shit-" I replied.

"Mrs Aoi do you know the cause of Mikan's death?" Later I went to ask her this question. "I'm pretty sure it was snake poisoning. Poor girl suffered alone.." Mrs Aoi replied. "She's the ultimate nurse couldn't she help herself?" Hiyoko commented. "Saionji chan, Tsumiki couldn't help herself because she probably didn't have the necessary antidote in order to avoid the bite." Mrs Aoi informed the rude girl.

People started to come over at the place when Mikan was. I couldn't think straight. Nagito, Chiaki, Fuyuhiko and all my friends tried to comfort me but nothing really seemed to calm me down. I've never known how was it like to lose a loved one. Adults started coming over too. The central park where everyone was due to her death was so crowded at the moment.

"EVERYONE PLEASE STOP TALKING AND LISTEN TO MY ORDERS CAREFULLY!" Mrs Kyoko got everyone's attention. "As you might have already learned, the Ultimate Nurse has passed away with such a painful way. It really is upsetting and I don't want anyone to end up like this poor young girl so, I'm going to give everyone a snake poison antidote just in case. About the Ultimate Nurse's death, tomorrow morning her funeral is going to be attended. Anyone who would like to come at the funeral should better come to say their final goodbye to our beloved student, classmate and friend. Everyone started to leave and go back to their rooms.

I was about to leave when I noticed from the corner of my eye 2 figures taking a way closer look at Mikan's lifeless body. Who is it?

"Shuichi?! Kaede?! What are you guys doing there" I yelled. "Shhhh! Be quiet (Y/n). We will explain the situation just wait a second." Kaede tried to calm me down. "We were just taking a closer look at Mikan, nothing weird or anything so please don't take the wrong id-" "Uhh teachers will find you out so you better return to your group, don't you think so Shuichi?" I cut off Shuichi. They didn't seem like the types who would start an argument over that so they simply left the central park. "Hmm what were they looking for huh they know the cause of death don't the-"

I was genuinely shocked at what I just discovered. Now I understand what they were looking for. Mikan's bite wasn't an original snake one. It looks like someone did poison her and faked a snake bite. This doesn't seem right. Something looks completely wrong here. Let me take a closer look.

"(Y/n) why don't you return to your room? I know it is unfortunate to lose your first friend in here but I don't want you to break the rules. Please return to your group." Mrs Kyoko really did scare the shit out of me. "Yes I'm sorry I better return. Goodnight." "You too (Y/n).

I left the place. This is so weird. There's nothing I can do anyways. Mikan is already dead and I cannot bring her back to life.

*Back to the room*

"(Y/n) will you go to the funeral?" Ibuki asked me. "I will be there. When is the time and the meeting place?" "6am in the forest's cliff. Wanna go together?" Ibuki asked me. "Sure. Who else is going to come with me and Ibuki?" I got everyone's attention. "I better go and sleep. You know (Y/n) sleeping is important. You shouldn't miss it." Hiyoko literally chooses sleeping over our classmate. That's so sad honestly. "Hm okay goodnight I suppose." Not many people seemed that interested. I went to brush my teeth and met up with Mahiru, Akane and Peko "Will you girls come to Mikan's funeral?" I asked them. "You know (Y/n).. I' wasn't that close to Tsumiki chan at all" "I wasn't really friends with her..." "I didn't really knew her"

Oh my... Why is everyone so cruel. Why am I even talking about cruelty hahahahah that's not even funny at all. In my mind it is. Well tomorrow morning I will go and I don't give a shit about who is coming over. By the way... Mikan's grave will be placed in the place where me and Nagito were listening to Devil Town. Pretty ironic. Anyways I better let those feelings to fade and sleep already.

*Morning at 5:50am*

I got ready about her funeral. Almost everyone is sleeping. From our room only me, Ibuki and Chiaki were interested in Mikan's death as I can see. We started walking to the cliff.

*Morning at 6am*

The weather was warm with a soft wind. It was still night. Words cannot explain how much I love nighttime and watching the moon. All the adults were gathered, they were probably forced to come over. Hmm there weren't many students here. It was only me, Ibuki, Nagito, Chiaki, Hajime, Shuichi and Kaede. There was also a dude refered to as the ultimate Astronaut 'Kaito Momota'. "Good morning (Y/n), it's going to be a difficult day today." Shuichi greeted me and then talked with Hajime and Chiaki. "(Y/n) I know it's difficult for you and your friends. We all knew Mikan and she was and will always be an amazing friend." Kaede tried to comfort me. "Yeah I guess so..." "I also wanted to introduce you a friend of mine. His name is Kaito Momota, the ultimate Astronaut!" "Hey there (Y/n)! I know it's not the best time for introductions but we never got the chance to talk anytime sooner, so I hope we can talk later if there's no problem in it!" I think he's kinda annoying but I'll bear with it.. I mean- he doesn't even look sad or bothered by Mikan's death.

Mr Naegi started reading a book full of goodbye wishes and stuff which was so boring to be honest but we all had to deal with it for the sake of our friend. "Now before the funeral comes to an end I would like everyone who is gathered here to write a short goodbye to Mikan in a paper given to you by Mrs Kyoko." I wrote what I would like to tell her as my 'final goodbye'.

[ Mikan Tsumiki... Thank you for being my first friend and accepting me. We didn't spend much time together. Not even a week in fact. You were taken away from me and I will never get over your death. I never had any friends and you were the first person who ever became my friend so that's why you will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you for being the first one.
