Y/N POV:

"N-Nagito.. Did you hear that?"

"Yes I did...
It's okay (Y/n) I'll protect you don't get scared!"

Nagito is way calmer now. Why? Maybe it's a prank someone settled?

Suddenly me and Nagito saw 4 figures coming towards us and felt the cold wind hit us both.

"Y/n? With Nagito? What? No waaaaay!?"

The 1st figure shouted. Turns out it was... "SONIA?!?!". Soon after we noticed everyone else. Turns out it was Sonia, Hajime, Chiaki and Gundham. I think we both felt relieved phew~

"WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU?" Chiaki seemed to worry

"YOU ARE THE ONE WHO NEEDS TO GIVE SOME EXPLANATION. SONIA TOO" I replied.

"I'll explain once we return back to our room. You better explain too then..." Chiaki told me.

I nodded, then girls and boys went into separate ways.

"Sonia, Chiaki... I was so worried I'm so happy you didn't get hurt or anything." I started the conversation. "Yeah we are so sorry about that. We just-. We just, didn't feel ready to trust you and we are really sorry." They both said.
"Oh I'm sorry I made you feel that way, I didn't know I was such a burden to you girls." I apologized even though I don't know the topic I'm apologizing for-. "No no don't apologize it's not your fault." Sonia said. "Yeah not at all." Chiaki continued. "We didn't want to tell you until now, because we... You know we don't know you for a long time and felt uncomfortable but now we are ready to tell you about our secret relationships." They both told me. "Your what?" "I'm dating Hajime and Sonia is dating Gundham... That's all and we went for a secret date." Chiaki finally revealed. "Girls... I'm so proud of you, to be honest I thought Sonia was dating CHIAKI lmao." I said with a happy yet jealous face. I think they didn't notice and we just returned to our room.

When we suddenly realized that the time had passed... We were late but couldn't care less.

"Oh so you finally remembered to return!" Mrs Aoi told us. "WE ARE SO SORRY MRS AOI FOR BREAKING THE RULES!" The 3 of us said. "Where's the rat?" Hiyoko laughed and we just stared at her, confused. "I'm talking about Mikan you losers." She seemed to get mad. "Mikan didn't show up at all?" I said worried. "Yeah? Wasn't she with you?" Hiyoko replied. "We were together in the morning only. She left after that..." I murmured. "You should better find her tomorrow, now we gotta sleep don't ya think so? Also (y/n), Chiaki and Sonia won't participate in our next activity as a punishment." Mrs Aoi said. Oh my god nobody seems to care about my poor friend... Not that I can do anything right now, but tomorrow as soon as I wake up I'll go find Mikan!

*Next morning timeskip to group A's place brought you by Gundham's hamsters*

So... This is group A huh... I shall better ask someone about Mikan's disappearence.

"Hello I'm sorry for bothering you but... Have you seen my friend Mikan Tsumiki? She didn't return back from your rooms. Do you know where she is?" I asked a blonde haired girl and a dude next to her. "Hm... Shuichi where was she? I remember the ultimate nurse was around your room yesterday. I haven't seen her today tho... By the way I'm Kaede Akamatsu, the ultimate pianist and this is Shuichi Saihara the ultimate detective!" Kaede informed me. "Oh fine, by the way I'm (Y/n) the ultimate Music Listener. You guys have such amazing talents not gonna lie. Anyways I hope we can become friends!" I responded. "Of course! Our talents are both about music so we are already friends! Shuichi is interested in music too! Also welcome to our group!!" Kaede welcomed me. "About Mikan... I haven't seen her around, she actually told us yesterday, that she headed back to her room. I haven't seen her since then." Shuichi joined the conversation. "But she never returned... I'm starting to get nervous heh~ I shall better try to find her." I told them. "WAIT! We can help you (y/n) you aren't alone!" Kaede and Shuichi stopped me before leaving.

We looked everywhere but Mikan wasn't found. It was time for group A's activity so I returned back to my room to find Sonia and Chiaki. They got really worried about Mikan. So did I. Mrs Aoi was looking for her too. Is she really okay? I hope she has a boyfriend or girlfriend at least it would be a relief to know she's alright. (Hope this makes sense 😭)

*Timeskip to after 2 days because nothing really special happened*

Woah it's been a couple of days since Mikan hasn't shown up and all the camp seems to be aware. Everyone has been looking for her. Everyone except me. I'm sitting in my bed listening to music and staring at the ceiling in the dark, thinking about horrible things that might have happened.

"(Y-Y/n) p-please come with me..." Mahiru was worried too.
"What happened Mahiru? Did Hiyoko do something to you?"
"N-no (y/n) it's not a-a-about Hiyoko. It's about M-Mikan..." Mahiru informed me.
"DID Y'ALL FIND MIKAN!? YAYAYAYYA I'M SO HAPPY!!!" I screamed.
"Y-yeah come with me." Mahiru didn't seem that excited but I still followed her.

Mahiru leaded me to the place Mikan is. This picture will probably be the worst memory I will ever remember from Mikan.

All I could see was Mrs Aoi holding in her hands the lifeless body of Mikan and students around them.

My first friend in this school.

My best friend in this school.

The girl who always trusted me.

The girl who was worried about me more than anyone else.

The girl who never gave up on me.

The girl who tried to help everyone.

The girl who needed to be saved.

The girl who had nobody to protect her until I came to this school.

Mikan Tsumiki.

This girl.

Was already dead.

The thing I was afraid of happening just happened.
